Yup... it‘s a pity hardly anyone cares about the actual animals of these weird dog, cat and other exotic animal cafes. They shouldn’t be kept like that... indoors, with so many other animals, stress all the time. Whenever i see these in vlogs I wonder why ppl don‘t criticize it more often
It is bad, and def not the right conditions for them. But in asia, they're probably treated a lot better in that cafe than they are in most zoos. Not talking about sanctuaries, but if you see the conditions of even the most popular, and well funded zoos in korea/japan/china, they're treated better in this cafe. Also the owner of that meerkat cafe said she actually got most of those meerkats from zoos that were shutting down due to lack of funding and had nowhere to go. It's a complicated situation.

They are also keep entertained by the consent stream of people. The other animals don't stress them out because they are raised with them and see them every day.

Seafood is not so expensive, just don't expect to have the same sushi eating like Japanese sushi. They do make a lot of sashimi. Cheese is about 10.00 a pound. However cheese selections are not that great.

Yeah I recommend going to neighbourhoods that don't have a lot of foreigners and they are like so much cheaper
To be honest the clam was probably harvested that morning, and can't be easy to keep fresh.
