I agree. I’m probably what you call being in a slump; laying around and playing video games after work and on weekends. Oh and I also eat junk food. Not the healthiest habits. Lol actually I’m the definition of being lazy 😅
When I’m depressed I do similar activities. It doesn’t make me feel better immediately. But over time it gets better. Definitely cultivate that love for yourself and try to give yourself some grace. I find comfort knowing other people go through this too, so this kind of video is good to post for someone like me:) ❤️❤️❤️
I was is a slumps for like 3 weeks becuase of my anxiety ❤and I couldn’t go anywhere or do any house work, study,cooking etc but last weekend my boyfriend came over and got me out of it, he is everything to me ❤😊
Plan something to look forward to! It makes saying goodbye to summer easier if you are looking toward a fun activity. Also, as someone who suffers from major depressive episodes, don’t hesitate to get medical attention if you are getting worse not better. Sometimes you can do everything right but your brain has other plans. ❤

Thank you for your raw honesty. Sometimes no matter how much we want to have the fast turnaround, it’s not our fault when it doesn’t happen. Kudos for recognizing something that you did well that week (eating veggies). Hope you can keep doing the small, do-able actions that will add up over time to help you feel better. There’s no need to feel silly or like it’s not worth talking about bc some people have it worse. Life can be overwhelming and chaotic and sometimes you just need to get back to basics and not feel guilty for what you don’t get to. Sending a virtual hug and hope things improve soon. 🫶🏻☕️🍁

never overthink if your "negativity" is bringing anyone down! you're one of my comfort channels, and even with me being in a slump too, it helps to see that i'm not alone in this and that there are other people who feel the same way. it's not bringing anyone down at all. if anything, it's really helping more people than you know

It's a seasonal depression very common. I love fall and I get seasonal depression from doing the same things everyday and the weather can change your mood. My best way to get out of my slump is coloring, reading, going for a walk,etc. 💜

Im so sorry you're feeling low at the moment 💙Just remember it is always temporary and that you'll push through like you always have xxx I definitely struggle with seasonal depression too xx My absolutely top thing that helps is getting intentional sunlight! On those sunny days just go sit in a park and soak up the sun for 15 minutes and do nothing else but enjoy the moment ☀You are doing amazing, you'll get through it xx
Thank you for being honest and sharing how you are feeling. I feel like I have been in a slump on and off since the start of fall. I try my best to get out of it but if I have a day or two where I go back into it I try not to be too hard, if it's any longer I then revalue my daily goals such as drinking enough water, moving my Bod etc. and just just try one or two then gradually increase them if and when I feel better. Hope you feel OK again soon xx

I've also been in a slump for many weeks now, and no matter how much rest and self-care I do, I would just go back to that slump. 😢 But like you said, we still have to help ourselves to get back up, and that's what I'm doing too. Continue with self-care, reading, and other hobbies. I also went to counseling recently and I gained clarity on what I'm going through. After some time, I eventually made an important decision so I can help myself recover more and live the life that I really want. Still not super okay right now, like how you ended your video. And that's okay, we're human. But thanks for your openness and for being real. I hope and pray we all get through all the negativity. One step at a time. We keep going. Everything will be okay. 🫶🫶🫶

I've totally been in a slump the last few weeks and I know exactly why. Unfortunately, knowing the why doesn't change the situation. This weekend I did get a ton of cleaning done and at first I was discouraged because I didn't do everything on my list but I'm editing that footage now and it made me realize that I actually got SO MUCH DONE. Like, I'm exhausted just watching myself complete all these tasks in one weekend AND host a 4 hour party in the middle. My house is still a mess in several areas but sometimes my expectations for myself are too high 😅

ilyyy I use suave shampoo and conditioner (the moroccan oil infusion ones) and I wash my hair every other day. I also avoid dying it (I think the last time I dyed my hair was a couple years ago!). I also started sleeping with a silk pillow case instead of cotton.. not sure if it’s making a difference though!
Clearly, I needed to see this ❤. Thank you for being vulnerable and trusting us (your supporters) with that. This was REAL and that’s appreciated. I struggle with anxiety so badly… the one thing that consistently helps me, is going for my walks, “brain dumping”, practicing radical acceptance and writing things I’m grateful for. All of these things calm & recenter me spiritually and emotionally. Really helped me get through my depression when I went through my divorce so maybe they can help with your seasonal depression. This was such a comforting vlog, girlie💕 I love your channel because you share your experience- the good, the inspiring, and the hard. Something that helps me through the colder months is leaning into it and celebrating the chance to be cozy and make fall and winter memories, even if it's just being at home doing puzzles, watching comforting nostalgic movies and drinking hot chocolate. Sometimes it's the little things that make me realize how magical life is!
Don't be so hard on yourself. You're doing fine. It's okay to have bad/sad days. It's funny because I was going to mention maybe it's PMS, but as a woman, I don't want to belittle other women's feelings by suggesting everything is because of the menstrual cycle, but for me, a lot of times it is just that and once the menses hits, I feel better.
honestly it's been hitting me more lately!! I've started noticing that I feel really down / low energy right before my period starts. I recently bought a pms support supplement and I'm curious to see if it helps
Which font are you referring to?? I typically use ariel font the most in my videos! I also play around with free fonts from dafont.com like farmhouse and new york
If it's SAD, a lightbox will fix the problem within 6 weeks. I have had it before, and that completely solved the problem. If you don't feel better soon, try one out. It's easy and drug free.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You're doing fine. It's okay to have bad/sad days. It's funny because I was going to mention maybe it's PMS, but as a woman, I don't want to belittle other women's feelings by suggesting everything is because of the menstrual cycle, but for me, a lot of times it is just that and once the menses hits, I feel better.
honestly it's been hitting me more lately!! I've started noticing that I feel really down / low energy right before my period starts. I recently bought a pms support supplement and I'm curious to see if it helps

Which font are you referring to?? I typically use ariel font the most in my videos! I also play around with free fonts from dafont.com like farmhouse and new york
If it's SAD, a lightbox will fix the problem within 6 weeks. I have had it before, and that completely solved the problem. If you don't feel better soon, try one out. It's easy and drug free.
