Not joking about Aug 4 is not political correctness it's about consideration of people's feelings here, the ones who lost their families and friends in the first place and everyone else ofc. These guys are deeply hurt, being careful of what to talk about when it comes to their wounds is just another type of compassion and it's nice of you Wiss and all other comedians to have this sense of considerations in your content.

Yes YES YES CHiNN is the one and only best satire show ever created in Lebanon. I based my BA thesis on political satire in Lebanon and based on my research ChiNN was the only satire show that imitated formats such as the daily show with john stewart and the colbert report. It was the only show in Lebanon that wasn't based on stupid skits like the ones that used to air on lbc and so on.
It was the only show that gave rise to a new language to comedy since ziad rahbani's time.
I'm based in The Netherlands, w sarle shi 6 seen mish nexle 3a libnen, bas law fiyye inzal w to help in some way I would do it (w I have this plan aslan for the near future - inchallah with education ;)

loving the episode, although I joined in late.. however regarding the twin towers in NYC, I have been to the museum and the memorial 5 years ago, it is true there's a decent taste behind the memorial but it is there, and it's huge, and meaningful, because it holds onto the memory of each and every victim, by carving each and every name on something that looks like a dark inwards infinite fountain (where the two towers stood initially), plus the museum tells the whole story of that day, by leaving certain "painful" rubbish from the attack.. what I'm trying to say is that when the attack is done on your country from "external" attacks, it becomes easier to build memorials and museums and whatever pays tribute to that painful day, so for me it's not only about taste but rather about the technicalities behind the crime scene...

And yes Wagner lived and died way before Nazis but he was a renowned antisemite, and his music (because it was extremely laced with Germanic culture) was taken up by the Nazis for its assertion of German ideals.
The Nazis also used certain elements in Wagner's music like the leitmotif or "theme music". What they did was also use music to reinforce the theatrical effect of speeches Hitler gave.

"Can we separate the art from artist". No we can't, because things happening in the dark probably define who you are, rather than what you're showing in the light. Irrelevant and irresponsible acts, should'nt be masked or separated from the person in charge.
