- We used BLUE CRABS to catch these GIANT Saltwater fish! In this episode I head out kayak fishing for giant fish around bridges and docks. The bait we used to catch these fish are Blue Crabs. Blue Crabs are some of the best bait for redfish and black drum and in this video we catch some GIANTS!!

Go troll somewhere else. Both fish swam away strong.

Glad to see you using the proper gear for larger fish. So many people want to use lighter setups and spend a lot of time fighting the fish. Appreciated the fact you had the right setup to get them in, revive, and release. Those long fights are so bad for the fish if you plan on releasing them! Enjoy the content!
I like how I’m wrecking a burrito in the background of your whole intro. 😂
😂 😂
Nice kayak set up! Love your spirit of fishing- subscribed!
🙌 thank you!!
Grozza Perth Australia watching

It was reported last week by our local weather / news channel that a weather bouy in a south Florida bay was reporting a 101.1 degree water temp at (5 feet depth.) .. other bouys in that bay were reading 98.... at (5 feet depth... my last fishing trio I (went 2 weeks ago) 7 miles off shore .. Water temp was 89°... 1 foot depth... Insane Air and Water Temps...
😯 my goodness that’s crazy hot!
Wow that's ridiculous water temps
2 toads . You are going to have to get in the gym if you keep fishing for them. Great vid and great catch
I hit the gym this morning 😂 I was thinking the same thing lol
That looks fun!
Man it’s pretty fun fighting these fish! We will have to do it soon.
Man that looked fun!
🙌 it’s a blast brother!!
Good 1 Nate!

Wow that black drum a beast
🙌

🙌
Good video, subbed!
Thanks brother!!
We were freediving off Bayport, FL on the Nature Coast on Saturday and it was 92⁰. Like bathwater.
Man that sounds very uncomfortable lol
Need a TD to move over the Gulf and stir up some cool water.
Especially before a big one enters the Gulf.
We need something lol that waters HOT!!
Let's gooooooo brother.....
🙌 🙌 🙌
Huge catch! Water weighs 8 and 1/3 lb per gallon. So do you think the fish weighed as much as a 5 gallon bucket of water?
Man I would say close to it. Hard to tell sitting down.
I've caught and weighted a good many of those over the years, they always seem to look better than the weight. I'd guess at most 33lbs.
Nice catch I know how u felt 😂
🙌 🙌
Let’s gooo way to smack some big ones
🙌 🙌
That bayou is one of my favorite places to fish and is infested with 30lb+ black drum
Yeah it is loaded! One of the few places I go when the wind is kicked up
Man I wanna get a kayak but i need a heavy duty one max weight has to be 600 just to be safe
Awesome video! How do we know when the jaw is dislocated? Just curious?
You’ll feel it and hear it snap
@@southernsalt ahh ok. Thanks man. Great content!
Don’t you be playing with my pets! Haha! I work just down from where you caught that first black drum. What day of the week we’re you there?
Actually, you were directly across from my work on that second fish.
Nice!! I was there Friday
@@southernsalt dang! Surprised I didn’t see you!
I thought you could weigh her,but yes 40 pound is pretty close.that would be fun nate just need some sort of scale.
Yeah, even if I had a scale I don’t think I could lift it from a kayak to get the weight.
I know you're allowed to fish near those docked boats but have you ever gotten harassed?
I’ve never had any problems fishing around there.
Just put her back where you got her so me and @dustyfishco can go catch it again lol
😂 right on!!
