Can not disagree totally . But then wearing seat belt and having insurance is also useless . Our compromises with safety is not motivating these manufacturers to make safe cars . It's not tough for them .

If the crash test happens, this might be in the range of 3 to 3.5 not more I guess because the platform hasn't changed.

This is a newly launched Model, first four years - you won't get parts because its a new model, Later - you won't get parts because its now old, not successful and blah blah Also, the Hyundai authorised Service centres in India are very substandard - they ruin your car, will misplace parts, deteriorate your vehicle and blame you for it. A 5days work will take atleast 2months to sort out. Still wanna buy Hyundai - Go ahead and feel the trauma yourself.

Guy's few things we should consider before opting Hyundai exter. Today i booked exter over fronx delta plus (10.7 lac). Punch Acc dazzle ( 10 lacs). Reason i cancelled fronx. Because of features missing in both. Not 1 or 2. Many basics option missing. Please find the additional features we are getting in exter Optional variant booked today (10.57 lcs) Bangalore. Find the features below. 1. 6 airbags 2. Sun roof(avl in punch) 3. Rear AC 4. Rear wiper 5. Rear defogger 6. Auto headlamps 7. Push button{ avl in punch) 8. Wireless charger 9. Cool glove box 10. Voice command 11. Alloy wheels ( avail in pinch and fronx) 12. Seat adjustment (punch) 13. Cruise control ( punch) 14. Orvm ( punch) 15. Tyre pressure monitor 16. Hill assist 17. Reverse camera ( punch only) 18. Day and night mirror ( punch only 19. Child lock door and window) 20. Rear room lamp. Car ki Tail ka delay ke sath align hona indicates that car ka centre of mass kuch jyada hi frontal side par hai i.e. because of engine position. I hope you can imagine how light weight the body shell is. It's a TIN CAN for sure with gimmicks of 6 airbags and other safety features. Bodyshell is highly unstable as it's noticeable while driving it. It's when the car is equipped with ESP. I can only imagine what disaster it'll do without ESP. I don't think it'll get more that 3 stars (more likely like creta) that's too because of electronic safety features, not because of strong structure and bodyshell.

Better go with Nissan Magnite more ground clearance 205mm 16 inch tyres 195 60 r16 and 4 star safety rating plus you can go comfortable with luggage 5 people in it. (no Clipping) of tyres with full load

Interior quality , as usual , are a plus point for almost all Hyundai products. pls Look at ROOF LINER QUALITY AND SHAPE , sply on corners above doors.....
Initially I was waiting for its launch as I desperately needed a four wheeler with comfort at my age 60. But when I visited it on launch date 10july itself at the showroom, found that as far as safety rating concerned this can get only up to 2star Max like nios. The same thing that hundai will not go for crash test came in my mind immediately. At many body points u can press it by your thumb also so overall this cannot compete with tata punch. Exter feature wise loaded with less solidity. Thereafter i booked a venue which I found can be driven in the city as well as on highways occasionally needing which fulfilled my requirement.

Either u could have wait for the crash test rating before booking I have huge doubt on it's safety or u could have gone for magnite controlled nvh and better safety

One of the Good one reviews I've recently seen about Hyundai Exter, since it has been launched. I liked the on-road driving exp you tested on rural areas road. The most important one is the useful insight about the Automatic driving mode and the use and response of paddle shifters while driving the AMT version.
on many portals heard that mahindra xuv 200 will launch. but not officially from mahindra. now mahindra is bzy to reduce the waiting period on their suvs.
I saw this car today. This looks really good. Its hard to believe its on6-8 lacs. Hyundai has done a fantastic job with design of the car.

Hi Sir...Is it safe car on highway as hyundai will not send it for ncap?
Car ki Tail ka delay ke sath align hona indicates that car ka centre of mass kuch jyada hi frontal side par hai i.e. because of engine position. I hope you can imagine how light weight the body shell is. It's a TIN CAN for sure with gimmicks of 6 airbags and other safety features.
Bodyshell is highly unstable as it's noticeable while driving it. It's when the car is equipped with ESP. I can only imagine what disaster it'll do without ESP.
I don't think it'll get more that 3 stars (more likely like creta) that's too because of electronic safety features, not because of strong structure and bodyshell.

Initially I was waiting for its launch as I desperately needed a four wheeler with comfort at my age 60. But when I visited it on launch date 10july itself at the showroom, found that as far as safety rating concerned this can get only up to 2star Max like nios. The same thing that hundai will not go for crash test came in my mind immediately. At many body points u can press it by your thumb also so overall this cannot compete with tata punch. Exter feature wise loaded with less solidity. Thereafter i booked a venue which I found can be driven in the city as well as on highways occasionally needing which fulfilled my requirement.

Don't buy a Hyundai... Atleast in India.
The real pain will start when you will give your Car to the Service Centre.
This is a newly launched Model,
first four years - you won't get parts because its a new model,
Later - you won't get parts because its now old, not successful and blah blah
Also, the Hyundai authorised Service centres in India are very substandard - they ruin your car, will misplace parts, deteriorate your vehicle and blame you for it.
A 5days work will take atleast 2months to sort out.
Still wanna buy Hyundai - Go ahead and feel the trauma yourself.

One of the Good one reviews I've recently seen about Hyundai Exter, since it has been launched. I liked the on-road driving exp you tested on rural areas road. The most important one is the useful insight about the Automatic driving mode and the use and response of paddle shifters while driving the AMT version.
