Thinking Art Entertainment i was team leader for The Soccer Moms, we did After Life Coach. The one with the harmonica.
Haha! Loved the dark humor on that one and the harmonica makeup. I actually talked to the Shatternick actor and the harmonica guy (i didnt get their names) at the dropoff. Sorry to hear that you guys ran into export problems.
This was awesome! Can’t believe this was done with such high quality in a super short time frame. Loved all of the rewind/reset moments!! Many people need to hit the reset button.

First of all, congratulations to all of you! This was incredibly well done, and only in 48 hours? That’s outstanding! I’m literally dying laughing over here; it was outrageously hysterical. Actually spit my coffee up laughing at the end, realizing that the coach was also helping the woman and having a much harder time with her the whole time to push him to drinking and smoking. Acting was wonderful, editing was wonderful, sound effects and lighting were wonderful, just all around wonderful!

Had to watch the whole thing. So well acted and hillarious. That 'kiss' scene and the final bed room scene were classic. Would be cool to see this the other way around... Wiith the girl trying to impress the guy. Awesome vid!

I like the pause effect. Did you split screen? I love how creative this got. This guy has no clue haha I don’t know if pausing life to redo everything will be more beneficial in the end. That plot twist tho! OMG Life would be too fake! 😂😂😂
Thanks, Amelia! It was kind of a split screen, yes. We drew a mask around the part that we wanted frozen (or rewound), added that effect to the masked clip only, and then left everything else in normal speed. Pretty simple, but it definitely added a needed element to the film.

Dating in the modern age looks tough. I think it's better to just be yourself. Sure you'll strike out plenty, but when you find the right person, it'll be great and you won't have to keep saying things you don't mean.

I don't understand why someone who is willing to have sex before marriage would be offended by flower petals in the shape of a heart on the bed, but I appreciate the production value of the movie. Interesting concept.
So the gesture implies that he assumed they would sleep together on just the third date, which is what upsets her; but the joke is that she's a bit of a loose cannon and the Life Coach has trouble understanding her AND he's even helping her too.
That ending tho🤣

Thank you! So the actress did pause herself, but as you can imagine it's really hard to stay that still... so we did an effect that we paused her. We did a tutorial on how we froze/rewound her.

Interesting concept. I was thinking about writing such a time travel concept short film because One Minute Time Machine is probably my favorite short movie ever. But I do think a bit more can be done with the concept to explore the theme and concept more. That of course will take a few more minutes of screen time and a heavier focus on plot instead of gags by themselves. It did feel like there could have been some character and plot development too to make it really good.
Thanks for checking it out and for the honest feedback! These 48 hour film projects are hard to make something truly great, but everything can be taken away as a learning experience. I always have a lot of "I wish I would have done this or that" during projects, but these especially so since we only get 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit.
