This is really cool boss design. If you freeze him, he breaks out and teleports around, if you pillar stance he grabs you because he can't reach, and if you use pluck of many he guards to gain the bonus damage and punish you. It's like saying he's saying I won't use cheesy attacks if you don't

Yin tiger is one of the best bosses created in any video game period, let alone how those cinematic dodges mid fight made it feel like a movie and to know you were facing someone that has sparred with wukong before made it even better

Forreal. I haven’t beaten the game yet, but there’s another optional boss in chapter 4 that’s even better. This game is reaching Sekiro levels for me. Peak action gameplay.
The particles, the artwork - both concept and design, the writing and translation especially, and finally the voice acting are all absolutely phenomenal in this game. Just an amazing work by these people, for me whomever the writers and translators are, they are the dressing to this dinner, goddamn amazing sense of character, fable, proverb, poetry and brevity in English.

Yin tiger’s honestly my favorite character in the game so far. Came across him the other night, had to beat him and now he’s memorized. I literally go back at times just to challenge him again. Super fun and well polished boss.
This game definitely has something special in it doesn't it Charlie? Not since Elden ring have I been thoroughly immersed and enjoying every second of my play through. I beat the yellow wind sage in chapter two and there's still so much more to do.

What Chapter is Charlie on? I don't remember fighting the boss at the start of this video. Edit: Yeah I missed that boss in Chapter 3. I fought another boss that looks just like him on Turtle island. I must go back and check to see if I can still do that quest.
Yin Tiger tips: 1.When he runs away on all 4s, you need run away and get ready to dodge the grab. 2. Use rock solid. 3. Immobilize can still work. Use it for charged heavys only or use pluck of many instead of hitting him yourself. 4. Whenever he charges his sword, you only need to dodge the finale swing.
Yin Tiger has just become my favorite secret boss of all time. Dude is such a Chad. If you dont respect that sword, youre NEVER gonna beat him. I got to around lvl 61, started using Spellbinder, and just understood his attack patterns. You kinda HAVE to master dodging his swings. I even dodged some of the command grabs after awhile. I think i beat him in under 100 tries, but i truly lost count. 😂

The thing is Yellow Brow likes to personally rig and manipulate these games to ensure he always wins by twisting people. So how can you say humanity is evil at heart if your the one purposely manipulating them so you can have a result your satisfied with? Its like throwing a bread at a starving homeless and saying "Dont eat it!!" so you can say "Ha! See they ate it like I thought! Truly no shame!"
I noticed every time you stumble from a heavy attack, you can more quickly get up once you start dodging. It does help to get attacks in or heal more quickly.

The tiger attacking so much with fairly easy to dodge attacks is actually good. That's a ton of focus to use, you just need to make use of your focus points more. Not every point used needs to be, or should be, a resolute strike. It's often more effective to just pump the 3 points into a single attack and get all the bust in one hit, especially if you have the 4th point.
Bro ran away from Yin Tiger imediately after beating him and missed that he gives you a free extra curio slot after the battle.

The blacksmith tiger is by far my favorite fight. The fight is so cool and his attacks and visuals makes me feel like i'm fighting guts

The tiger attacking so much with fairly easy to dodge attacks is actually good. That's a ton of focus to use, you just need to make use of your focus points more. Not every point used needs to be, or should be, a resolute strike. It's often more effective to just pump the 3 points into a single attack and get all the bust in one hit, especially if you have the 4th point.
Charlie not focusing on chat is so refreshing compared to other streamers
