Something dark but beautiful all in one
This version's melody kinda reminds me of Placebo's take on Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill". They both sound haunting and yet charming.

I can't help but comment on how amazing this cover is. I'll be honest, I heard it in the background on the TV as I was doing something else, but immediately recognized the song and was intrigued. Like so many others I found this on Stalker... The music is almost haunting it's really getting through to our brains... Great music selected for The Stalker program...Love the program and had to grab my phone to hit Shazam to find out who this was singing...kinda breathless sounding but great - really hooked me at the end of the program.
