I'm a j-hope bias, but for freestyle rap even he would tell you Suga beats him, and RM beats Suga.
Now, if we're talking freestyle dance, it's j-hope, hands down, all day every day.
Suga definitely, suga and RM helped in a way to teach jhope rap though he has developed his own style over the years
Butter and Dynamite were the first songs that were completely in English. They were key in them reaching a larger audience worldwide. In the final 'Festa' when they all discussed what their next steps might be, some members talked about pursuing solo projects. V talked about signing with some fashion leaders (He's currently signed with Celine and Cartier) Jungkook became so emotional he barely spoke and cried a lot. But, RM got them all leaking from the eyes when he broke down in tears at mentioning the stages and changes the group had experienced in the 10 years as a group. He talked about his early years as a rapper before BTS. He spoke of the causes he was passionate about over the years. Everything going on in the world, in the group, and how he put so much of his heart and soul into writing music. Butter and Dynamite were uplifting and perky (almost too much so) and came out during the pandemic, I believe. It was relatable to the times and being totally in English, became a top hit EVERYWHERE. Literally couldn't turn on a radio without hearing those. They could spread their deeper messages in other songs if they were better known across a wider swath of humanity . But, as a lot of people didn't realize, RM was speaking through sobs and tears as he talked about almost losing touch with the reason he started making music, and that he almost felt like a sell out with the pop performances. He's super deep. He also felt a deep loyalty to his roots and his language. At the time they got together for that last Festa gathering, military enlistment was looming closer and closer, so they were thinking differently in that there was a lot of introspection and reevaluating of their lives going forward.

You’re merely scratching the surface rn. Anyway, if you’re serious about getting to know them, dig into their albums. Each era is fascinating, and even their B sides are phenomenally good.
