Movies like these need mature audiences. Problem is Indian youth are immature and easily get inspired and try to emulate what hero does in real life

That us the problem with such cinema. I understand its authenticity but it inspires the youth regardless and that was the problem with arjun reddy too. It says its okay to love toxic men. Massy films as cringing show we have to choose good over bad.

It seems like you didn't even read my comment. No one's glorifying the behaviour of these characters rather theyre appreciating the actor's acting and how SLB has captured these women beautifully. No one is glorifying or hero worshipping the behaviours of these characters. Everyone's aware that these are flawed characters. They're not romanticising over beautiful clothes. They're just fangirling over beautiful actresses and their acting range/ability rather than glorifying the acts of the characters these actresses played in the movie. Thank you for coming was the film about "toxic feminism" because girls were drinking alchohol, having party, having sex. But animal is a great movie even after full of violence, alchohol, smoke, hitting wife, disrespecting women, cheating on wife even after marriage. WOW

    • @AnkitKumar.411
      @AnkitKumar.411 Год назад +5

Again you are starting pseudo feminism let me tell you why Ranbir is shown as an toxic masculine man who is almost equal to Animal which is also movie title. That cheating arc is justified as he wanted information from that girl later decides to kill her but ultimately spares her coz she confess her feeling plus Movie is 18+ for a reason by the moment he met Rashmika and start talking I could see why this movie is titled as Animals.Nowhere in the movie you would feel that Ranbir's character is good for society and if you felt this at any point except last scene where his father actually accept his mistake and Ranbir's character breakdown and get what he wanted you aren't mature enough

Animal me violence krne wale ko hero dikhaya h, baap ke liye biwi ke rehte kahin aur so k aa gya to kya isko justify kr de? Ladki baap k liye so k aa jaye pati k rehte to wo justify ho jayega? @@ReviewByRashmi No he isn't shown as a Hero even though his character with bgm seemed so cool nowhere in the movie i felt Oh he is so cool I should be like him He is a Toxic male with father's issue which is pretty much evident even His cheating cannot be justified in real life. There is a reason for movie being 18+.18 is a age where people are assumed to be mature even by law in most cases so yeah. In pseudo feminist movie cheating is justified, being overweight is justified, prostitution is justified literally everything is justified in the name of women upliftment. And yes most people are criticising it even I felt and told my friends as long as characters like this exist in movie it's ok they shouldn't allowed in real life even this youtuber made a video about this toxic character check his channel.Let me tell you a fact female are more into these type of people than male.Coz I know enough girls like rashmika character who ignores decent guys and end up getting fucked and dumped in the end like Rashmika character and later becomes feminist and abuses all men including decent guys

ye picture ek spoiled arab pati ke ladke ke baare me hai jise sab kuch mila par "papa ka pyaar" nahi mila, aur woh then sab degrading cheeze karta hai while calling himself "alpha male" , violence aur problematic characters dikhana galat nahi hai, par usse glorify kar ke hero ki tarah dikhaana aur itna bada "Revenge" plot likhna jisme muje villains ka naam tab yaad nahi hai, isme konsi "mature audience" chahiye.
This film is just as bad as "thank you for coming" on the opposite spectrum, its just that this one has Absolutely amazing acting, score and some good action moments, movie me koi depth nahi hai. Mature audience ko Ghoomer dikhao, thats a movie for mature audience, not this.

Did Shan watch the same thing as I did? Because the screenplay was slow and indulgent AF. There is no coherence, the entire reason behind Vijay being the way he is just because his father did not give him time cannot turn him in to so volatile. Essential character arc of childhood was missed, his rehabilitation portion of 20 mins was unnecessary, the Tripti subplot was unnecessary. Instead a segment on the relationship breakdown between father and son, why the father nearly disowned him, why did he have indifference towards his son that laid the foundation of Ranbir’s character could have been incorporated. The flight sequence was unnecessary as well, was just inserted to get the song. Movie could be shorter by 30 mins easily.

And by half of the movie I was confused what I was watching and by the end of the movie I was convinced that I had been pranked by Sandeep Reddy. Now I am in shock and laughing hysterically on how I was an idiot to actually believe that Bollywood could actually deliver something good. Vanga has men in beards (who look like him) yelling at people and being mean to women simply because they can. Kashyap shows society a mirror and makes us feel repelled and disgusted because of the violence. Vanga glorifies and glamorises that same violence so the watcher feels full of adrenaline and enjoys that violence. Kashyap is talented af and vanga is a psychopath.

I seriously judge you for liking this movie dude !!
    1. You liked pad change karne wala dialogue applause worthy?? It makes no sense ! How is a woman's period which she goes through all her life related to ranbir's medical condition in the movie?? It was cringe to say the least !
    2. You mentioned something about how Bobby Deol's character had his life impacted because his father had multiple marriages. Well, nobody really saw it though except you. It was just mentioned that his father got converted to Islam and had multiple wives. How that impacted Bobby's character?? I don't know think Sandeep has that much brains to layer characters like that. There is no logic in that perception of yours.
    3. You mentioned movie had great editing. Do you really have any understanding of what editing is ? There were disjointed scenes all through out the movie. I am yet to figure out how Varun met Babloo? What happened to Ranbir's younger sister? Who was Prem Chopra?? I seriously couldnt hear most of the dialogues clearly because of the unnecesaary glaring background score ! Or what happened to the private jet when it went out of control after their first make out ?
The movie was toxic. Sandeep Reddy Vanga needs a therapy asap !!

Animal turns out to be a very average film.Keep aside the problematic part, let's talk about the parts which define a movie.
Screenplay - A very weak screenplay with not enough scope given for character development of the father (Anil Kapoor) nor the son (Ranbir Kapoor). A father not giving enough attention cannot solely justify Ranvijay's (Ranvbir Kapoor) character arc.(P.S. This guy has a criminal tendency and the only solution he needed was a psychologist from the very beginning). The main theme of the film as a result of the father-son relationship falters miserably to the point that the concluding scene doesn't impact you at all.The love story between Ranbir and Rashmika has been established quite poorly and is something that cannot be related with. Now, coming to the plot of the film. It's a very old school family feud wala ghisa-pita plot with nothing new to offer. Even, the screenplay has not been designed in such a manner to keep you intrigued.
The villain's character development has been extremely poor. They are killed as soon as they are introduced.
Extended interval block seems absurd. There is not enough development to the scene. I agree the shots were stylised, but you can see the other side standing idle while Ranbir does his action choreography. The song Arjan Vailley as a result has no impact at all. The entire theatre where I was sitting was not bothered at all as to what is going on in this scene and had already taken out their phones. This is purely a result of poor screenplay.
Thank God, we reached the first half of this film.
Now, the second half started with the aftermath and soon went into unnecessary comic scenes, followed by unnecessary new love angle with Tripti (again, a result of poor script. If Ranbir from the beginning knew she was a mole why did he sleep around with her.) All, this was done to add another angle of extra-marital affair. All this seemed half-baked. Few scenes, sub-plots have been simply kept to provoke the critics. Vanga as a writer makes some commentaries based on these sub-plots which are reflective of his thinking.
Finally, we come to the concluding moments of the film and the fight scene with Bobby Deol was good but again as his character arc was written poorly, one could not enjoy it to the fullest.
Movie ended with a scope for the 2nd part, but there wasn't enough plot in the 1st one. Only God knows what less the 2nd one will have.
Background Score/Songs - Songs on an individual level are beautiful but the main songs Arjan Vailley and Saari Duniya Jala Denge don't give the boost which was expected.
The background score is good, but it falters during the main interval block.
Other songs are soulful. Especially, the one with Tripti Dimri. However, it seemed out of place. The lyrics do not add to the scenes.
Acting - The only saving grace for the film is the acting of Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor (he was not given enough scope though). Other supporting actors are good and act to their respective roles. Bobby Deol cannot be judged as it was like he wasn't there in the film at all but honestly what he did was alright.
The only poor actor in this film was Babloo Prithviraj. (but again, needed more of his role to judge it properly).
Conclusion - Overall, this movie can be easily ignored and fails on the line of basic film-making.Also, the movie was exhaustingly long. Could've been easily trimmed by 40-45 minutes.

It wasnt even the misogny, I just felt like the film itself didnt make sense, instead of the message being subtle, it was overdoing everything which overcompensated the message, im saying this as a female. I understand that this is just a movie so i dont take it perosnal, however, the quality of the film was trying too hard. I love directors who dgaf, I even enjoyed the action scenes but the quality was fake if im honest. The transition wasnt seamless, message was too drastic. The filmography felt a bit off. I felt like random scenes were thrown together, trying too hard but people ignore that for the name of controversy. You dont need to be controversial to get a pass, some films are so simple yet amazing, while some are complex and low quality. And im sorry but you cant compare Sandeep Reddy Vanga to Tarantino! Granted both love action but Sandeep needs to do a better job in subtlty with his message.

In my opinion, "Animal" is a highly entertaining film, although some viewers may find it offensive due to its portrayal of masculine dominance, ego, and powerplay. Nevertheless, the action sequences are exhilarating and convincing, despite their occasional logical inconsistencies (similar to how John Wick films portray unrealistic feats in a way that remains believable). The background music is also captivating, and despite its 3+ hour runtime, the film maintains enough momentum to keep the audience engaged. However, viewers who don't understand Hindi might find it slow-paced.
Ultimately, if someone enjoys mindless action films like "Pathaan" and "Jawan" but dislikes "Animal," their opinion is questionable.

The reason why I like jawan and detest animal is because of the mysgioictic approach, normalizing cheating, hitting wife is considered ok and the overall equation with his wife was toxic and disgraceful. Hope we have more movies like omg2 and jawan in future times

@@saikiranb3688 While you have the right your opinion, I must point the fact that I had extreme problem on the treatment that the character of Ranbir got. Even after those problematic sequence and toxicity, he was celebrated. The wife decides to stay with him in the end. It would have made more sense if the director should some sympathy towards the enduring wife and how she was abused by her husband.
Moreover I didn't say pathan is a good movie so no point praising the movie. It was a mindless action movie which had problem sequence on how the brilliant agency like raw was treated.
As far as logic goes, there are lot of illogical moment in the movie , a girl revealing the plot for a week old relationship was illogical. However I am not against illogical movie, I am against movies that is misogynistic and shows such stupid character is positive light. This is a personal opinion. You can have your disagreement

@@bruceWayne.darKnight I get your point that it is an adult movie. Such character is not a problem. It is the treatment of those character that is problematic. There is no problem with the violence or the intimate scene in an adult movie. It is the mindset of the director and his approach towards women which is appalling.
Portraying abusive husband is ok for an adult movie. Ranbir played it well but showcasing that the girl have fallen for that is wrong. Twisted character may ask someone to lick thier shoes but when a woman succumbs to the demand in order to show love is wrong.
There are many sequence that I feel was problematic and as society we must call it out. I have my highest respect for your opinion. But but but, those were the only good things in the film. Storyline, logic, sense nahi hai. End tak poori film ka purpose hi define nahi hua. There was no scene where I could connect with any of the characters. Chalo ladki hoon, Ranbir ke character ko you relate kar hi nahi sakti but film ki koi female character we hi relatability nahi aayi. Poori story ka point hi nahi tha! Literally bas bloodshed dikhana tha is lite dikha rahe the. Kuch intimate scenes were absolutely unnecessary. Just for the sake of putting out an adult film you’re showing nudity for no freaking point or reason!
You’re talking about Quentin Tarantino films, but dude! His movies don’t have logic less violence! Woh jo poor a scene tha machine guns wala, Jahan pata nahi kitnelog ghus waste hai hotel mein bhai woh tha kya ??? It was unnecessary long and pointless. If you see Tarantino ‘s films you’ ll know he deals with human emotions and real life stories! And shows the exact representation of the past! Yeh animal bakwaas hai.
