Osseous is not a miniquest, it is a quest. classed as a quest. despite being a very miniaturised version of something. It still features under the "quests" tab.
It was a good year overall. It stinks that membership prices went up, but hopefully they stay at those prices for a few more years. I'm overall pretty happy about updating each skill to 110. Mining and Smithing as well as Woodcutting and Fletching have been a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to more quests next year.

2024 couldn't have been any better for me personally. A first flawless Zuk run in both normal AND hard mode after pursuing him for the better part of two years... and ultimately completing the log last month. Zuk remains one of my favorite bosses in RS3 along with Kerapac. 😎😎 Do you have any resolutions for 2025 (besides hoping to get 10k subscribers)? Mine is to exercise more, eat healthier, and get more sleep. 😅
Necromancy and the obsidian armour (with the addition of the extra 10% damage reduction from the Fight Cauldron coffer). You have no idea how much *TORTURE* I had to endure to unlock that hybrid Zuk cape tho... 😩 I'm on a mission to get 200 hard mode kills to unlock the Little Zuk pet's molten reskin (I'm at 112 so far, so I still have 88 more to go).
@@JustinLabbe-jt8pm I have somewhat an idea of how bad Zuk is. I have Hybrid Zuk and 8 HM kills all over an hour so the timer don't even get recorded. Taking it slow made the Cape easy but now I'll never get any of the HM drops.
I love seeing all the people who said that t95s werent acessable for the community's masks slip and start seething when t95s become accessible to your average pvmer. Spoiler, the average pvmer on runescape is not doing even 500% telos.
Small rant, so apologies. (score in the last sentance) This year really made me not want to play my main account anymore, and I actually cancelled my 13yr running subscription (1200+ days played) as well. Sanctum was alright, definitely a step in the right direction, although I am gonna have to say, insta kill mechanics are stupid no matter what boss.... Competitive group-iron is what keeps me playing at the moment, I enjoy the semi-race since everyone started from scratch again, non-competitive is pointless imo. For the 110 skills I would much rather have seen them all bundled in a big skilling update, perhaps with a skilling hub like we have war's retreat for pvm at the moment, them being spread out is just pointless and takes away any excitement for me (this is also caused by the fact I was 5.8b exp on my main...). And since we are most likely going to be getting 120 skills, it's going to be like 2028-2030 before all skills are 120, which just feels too long imo. The gate being a skilling boss but being locked behind a pretty high lvl cb quest completely ruis the idea of it being a skilling boss imo, it could have been a non-skilling boss and it wouldn't have made any difference, I am pretty sure sanctum is easier accessible than the gate is. And the updates itself aren't bad by any means, it's just the fact that the amount of mtx popups, mtx lobby ads, membership price increase, bonds price increase, devaluation of premium membership, devaluation of the advent calendar (used to be actually pretty fun, this year it was legit just emotes, paper and purple presents) overshadows any decent update by so much. And I am just tired of the direction the game keeps going in, so to give this year a score, it would have been a 3/10, but because of competitive group iron, I am gonna say 5/10.
There is sorta a skilling hub it’s call prif the elf city which people call the skilling city so why would they add another? Prif already takes a new player while to get into it
Now like you said the new skilling boss take a lot to get into it same with if they added a skilling hub like we know Jagex a new player would probably have to drop 100s of hours to get into it imho a skilling hub is a shit idea
@@Purpl3R3ign I guess priff is fair, but then again that is also locked behind a big quest line with pretty big requiements. If you were to compare it to War's retreat, the kc needed to unlock the teleport only being 10, and you unlock more stuff over time is sorta what I was thinking off. I mean if you were to combine all 110s, they could have updated priff as well to just keep that as an hub where you could unlock new skilling methods for the 100+ range. I guess for "lower" levels there is menaphos as well, which is pretty nice, so we don't really need a low-mid level place, it would really only be for the 100+ range.
@@Purpl3R3ign I mean the hub itself if it would be the same as war's retreat (and ofc not priff or menaphos) wouldn't have high requirements to get into, you would just unlock certain stuff over time, so there could be something for low, mid and high level players, and a reason to keep going there once in a while.
As a returning player this was helpful- thanks!
Glad to hear!
5:02 We definitely did!
Gotta do a few more next year ;)

They didn’t even go up that much

Group iron is mtx free however it requires separate subscription costing 100usd
you know what i mean lol
I just ignore the mtx and have fun. It’s not a race and I go at my own pace. I am an intermediate player getting into bossing.

6. This year was a 6.
GIM is still super fun.
We got some great and fun quests.
The Combat Update and Sanctum of Rebirth were the best updates for me IMO.
completely forgot about the rebalance lol
