My favorite moment is when Fox credits Recee's mom for being the family MVP this year, stepping in to help with the baby. People do not understand what a difference that makes to the lives of everyone connected to appearance of this new person in the world. When grandmothers are not available, as a society we need to become intentional about finding village support for new families, especially during the critical first two years...

This was such a great time, an instant classic. I remember months ahead of the 2017 draft I was obsessed with the Kings drafting Fox and hoping it would happen, and it was mostly because of his personality. Beyond talent, I thought he had the most important trait you could have to carry a franchise in such a dire state as the Kings, which was self-awareness and he seemed very mature and grounded in reality, even at 19. I think if he didn't have those character traits, his time going through the chaos with the Kings would have been a lot different and he'd probably be on a different team now. Instead we're treated to seeing someone who is growing up and maturing into the best version of himself, finding a wonderful partner along the way, and finally seeing professional success. It's nice as a fan to see your team win, obviously, but just from a storytelling perspective, it's really cool and inspiring to see this kind of character development play out in real time. We're really lucky to have the Fox's representing our team and city. Thanks for delivering such wonderful content again and again!

I am so proud to have been able to be a fan of this team since I was able to watch and enjoy NBA as a kid. Growing up with Lakers fan dad and brother and being the only Kings lifer, love how our team is back to “great things ahead”

This was an amazing interview you can tell De'aaron and Recee are both very humble ppl. I could still watch this if it was a longer interview. You wouldn't think trey lyles and fox are best friends but thats so amazing to know Trey Lyles needs to stay on this team longterm. Glad the beamteam is running it back. And nice to see Fox letting us know about his view of Sasha and how hes hanging around with Keegan making him open up more. You have to get someone like Sabonis or Keegan on here now. This is awesome stuff. Kings are incredibly lucky to have Fox and recee. They bring up how Davion was ready so foxy could rest his foot, they mentioned a text thanking Wes for Kevin, how monk brought an attitude, how good Monte did bringing in HB, Trey and Sasha. Brought up how Sasha is a workhorse, mentioned Keegan getting better, went in on Sabonis being the man. Deaaron gave props to nearly every teammate by name and listed several coaches as well without even being asked. This team is going places. Kings are lucky to have recee in the mix too. That was an awesome 2 hours.

Incredible podcast, you guys. All 4 of you clicked super well it made it such a joy to listen to. I was getting a bit worried at first because you both seemed kind of nervous to have them in your studio but as you settled in the conversation seemed to just flow. This is seriously one of the best podcast episodes I have ever heard from you or other creators.
Also happy to hear that De'Aaron was able to stay with Recee through the whole birth. 22 hours is a really long time! I think a lot of us parents were worried that maybe Reign was having to go to the NICU or something. My wife and I had just had our child the year prior so I was on Reddit quite a bit defending De'Aaron staying away from the team thinking there must have been some complications. Glad to hear Reign and Recee are doing so well!

I want to share a quick story. My son loves De'Aaron Fox because of Dora's fox, the swipes things. That was his rookie year, and he predicted he will take Kings to playoffs. I told him that we don't pick players like that. He was right again. Just I take him to him Minnesota a couple day after Kobe death Fox hit the game winner.
This year he is predicting him to win his first MVP award.

All the bad times that happened during this first few years, I was just in disbelief watching Fox and company ball out in the playoffs. Game 1 is something I will never forget watching from the lower bowl in G1 Center. I was sitting right next to Morgan also. Go Kings! #BeamTeam
