I use this tactic BUT I prefer to have three at the back when In possession. So I'm using IFB at the left and my in-possession formation is something like 3-1-4-2! It's insanely good

Esteves might have high aggression maybe check the player instructions and remove Tackle harder, if the problem persists maybe remove the team instruction get stuck in. that might help

I find when it comes to improving youth prospects. I move them up to senior to train learn the tactics. I also put the prospect into a mentoring group with a team leader. Then I leave the prospect to play 90min matches with youth team. I find the prospect improves alot faster than loaning them out. Especially if your facilities are 100 times better than the team you are trying to loan the prospect out to.
