    That's a very sturdy door. Will you be adding a jamb stop strip behind the strike plate to keep the door from being pushed too far in from an inadvertent door slam?

      Thank you. These doors will be very helpful to limit dust between rooms and heat loss when the engravers are running.

    Loved this excellent video. How could you have chosen/designed the materials to NOT require the cutouts for the knobs?

    Looks like overkill to me. I would have used 2x3 with on in the center and 1/8 or so plywood.

    cost more and plywood edge exposed. what is the benefit?

      I wanted to give it a try. buying a pre built door is a great option.
