    That 86s call wasn't the best, he showed up basically the only bluff you could expect. 79o is not in his range vs co 2.5bb and most likely he'll jam only T9o with a diamond. You could never call a jam there. Although turn jam would have been an interesting option.

    • @Gosecore
      @Gosecore 5 лет назад +13

      yep, ingame I really didnt see that JT got there. PIOsolved my way through it and it's actually always a turncall and a very slightly losing rivercall.
      so all good😎

    i found your flop bet sizing on the JJ hand interesting. I understand you want to mix some small bets in your range but don't you think it would better serve KK or AA to bet small, while TT and JJ want to bet on the larger side given there's less potential overcards when you have AA or KK. still learning a lot of theory and solver work so i'm trying to think how i would balance my 2 sizing on the flop. my bluffs with a small sizing would use hands i wouldnt mind bet/folding or hands which want to stab then shut down while i'd reserve a bigger sizing for double barrel hands (like A5ss, or KQss which could turn alot of equity)

    • @Pyrotekniq
      @Pyrotekniq 4 года назад +1

      Not in this spot (4bp) - we just go small or check generally. SPR behind is really small, not incentivized to bet big
      On this board, you could consider roughly the strat you're describing in a SRP IP like BTN vs BB

  • @matthiaskrenn7511
    @matthiaskrenn7511 5 лет назад

    Could you explain the small Turn Bet with JJ?

  • @hugomiguelcardoso2558
    @hugomiguelcardoso2558 4 года назад

    Would you call his raise on the flop with AJo (jack of diamonds)?? You get 3.5 to 1 but it doen's play that well,
    So I think the JJ might the best candidate to call on the river. And if you really wanna block some two pars, you should think about QJ, cause blocks the most obvious one's (KQ).

    as played K8cc on 724ss9T is a 33% jam on river so no overbluff but u are probably jamming every time ;) turn would be a low freq 3/4 bet or check behind gg wp! ah and JJ as played is a x/c on riv :D but wants to check always on turn and x/c down from there

    Mit einem OESD IP (auch in 4 bet pots) zu raisen ist meistens falsch. Selbst AA wäre oft schlicht ein call.

    You got lucky to get max value when if you played correctly you would have certainly got max value

    • @aasmundholvik5289
      @aasmundholvik5289 5 лет назад +5

      Its not about getting max value against specifically kings, but to make the best ev play against his entire range. Therefore he randomizes between 5-bet jam and smooth calling. Puts his opponent in a tough spot with his high pairs and high cards, aswell as keeping his bluffs in. Played it great in my opinion.
