Holy crap, so the number system is what it's called. I've wondered for years what that thing was all about. When ppl say things like play the third (for example) i was in the dark. Thanks.
Sorry, I didn't realize I missed this comment. Thanks for the kind words. I've been friends with Wayne since I was 12 years old, even before I had any of his guitars. I won this particular guitar in a flatpicking competition in 2008. In 2010, Wayne made me a sunburst D18 that you can see in some of my other videos.
In this particular video, the guitar wasn't set up for performance, so my gear was kind of random, but generally speaking I use D'Addario EXP17 strings, which is a medium gauge phosphor bronze coated string. I BlueChip picks, almost always the TAD1R 60, which is a triangle pick about 1.5mm thick.
Could you maybe play these licks at about 1/2 speed. The slow is great for finding the notes but the fast is SO FAST it doesn't sound much like the slow. Thanks
Zeb man you are a monster of a picker I like you playing better than anybody’s out there God Bless my brother
He even makes a scale sound brilliant! Love this guy...

Glad to help, man. It's an extremely practical system.

Your playing is really solid. And how did you get a Henderson??? Love that box! Wayne is the man.

WHAT STRING GAUGE AND PICKS DO YOU USE

How do I find information on your lessons?
Shoot me an email. zeb@snyderfamilyband.com
What capo works with Martin 6string
Pretty much any standard capo works on a Martin 6 string. My favorite is an Elliot.
@@zebsnydermusic What do u charge for lessons .
Do you have tabs?
Listen carefully. Playing by ear is far more useful than tabs. Tabs are a crutch.
Awesome man thanks I play music all of it mostly bluegrass if you have a insta mine is blakee.music what is yours
Thanks man, my Instagram is zebsnydermusic.

use the playback speed feature in the video settings (the gear looking icon in the bottom right corner of the video)...
@@firewatermountainband8306 Yep!! Thanks!
Seems like it would be easier just to tell me what notes NOT to play.
Then you'd be avoiding errors, not employing ideas.
