Anonym amount of research? He got that whole KHL thing about AIK COMPLETELY wrong and with some other stuff about other teams aswell, maybe you should try get some info from subs or do better research next time, its not the first time you got a lot of wrongs. BUT, you atleast try and thats a big plus and i appreciate that. Just if you gonna throw in some facits, make sure they are right :-) Good video overall like every video, just except the facts but you cant get everything right :-) Keep up the good work!
Post2Post As I said, I really do appreciate the videos and that you at least try. Just that when you are saying facts, at least try to get them right :-) I didnt mean to talk shit about you guys, you are doing a fantastic job and keep doing it. It was just that little constructive critiscm. But other than that, its great!
Good video. Appreciate hearing outsiders talk about leagues that are near and dear to me. Unsurprinsingly, that also means I think you get some things wrong as well haha. I disagree with Brents statement that logos are less important in Europe because its a smaller part of the jersey/advertising. On the contrary Id say that the logo becomes more important, as it is the only thing in the presentation that is fixed over time. A team can change stadiums, jerseys, advertisers (which is some cases, is a big part of the team identity), and colors - but the logo remains the same. My local team has changed almost everything since its founding, except the logo - which explains why it looks like something that was designed in a high school art class.
MODO is a powerhouse when it comes to produce NHL players from such a small town. As you mentioned the sedin twins, marcus naslund and forsberg. But also: Victor Hedman, William Nylander, Tobias Enstrom, Carl Grundstrom and Niklas Sundstrom to mention a few more=)
Fredrik Jonsson timrå då ,Anton Strålman, Max Friberg, Anders Lindbäck, Henrik Zetterberg, Anton Lander, Magnus Pääjärvi, Elias Pettersson, Emil Pettersson, Jonathan Dahlén, Jacob Olofsson och filip hålander
Great video, finally got to see the leauge with my team in it (top three so im happy). The L in Ljungby is silent, same as the H in Hjalmarsson you had in a previous video. Other than that good job with the pronunciation Brent. The browish coulor in several logos, also in the SHL video, is supposed to be golden but unfortunately it always gets the wrong color in pictures.
Great video! Happy to see Vita Hästen end up as #1, I'm a big fan of theirs. Fun facts about the name: The team was founded in 1967, as you now. Two rival teams decided to join forces and become one, IFK Norrköping and IK Sleipner. The team was called IFK/IKS at first, i have the logo if you want a pic of it. 1973 they changed the name to Vita Hästen. The name comes from IFK Norrköpings white jerseys and that Sleipner was the name of Odin's horse. The flashes were not there in the beginning. They were something that were on the jersey's shoulders in the 90's, when the team was sponsored by a phone company. But the flashes became vere associated with Vita Hästen, so after a time of abscense they were imbedded in the logo a couple of years back.
In Sweden when we say dates we say the day first and the month second. like 23/09/89(1989) so when it says 9 first then 8 it would most likely mean 9th of August. About the Almtuna logo.

14:09 it’s a birch leaf. Björklöven Umeå IF is The Birch Leaf Umeå IF. I think it’s because Umeå has a strong connection to the birch leaf symbol. So when the club was founded in 1970 they named themselves Björklöven. Hope you enjoyed this fact
SSK was founded in february 22nd 1902, but the hockey section was formed 1925. Fun fact, they won the "gold" their first season. There used to be football or soccer and other stuff to, but SSK only have hockey and figure skating left.
I'm from Timrå and fun fact the first European to ever play for the Montreal Canadiens comes from Timrå and he is a legend here. his name is Mats Näslund.
The idea behind Troja-Ljungbys logo originates back to 1948. During the first meeting a wallpaper with the troyan horse fell from a bench and in that way both the logo and the name was made up.
There is a team in the border of sweden and finland that is half swedish/half finnish. They play in the northern parts of sweden. Teams name is HaparandaTorneå uhc.
That Brynäs jersey looks awesome, I was thinking about getting one, can you let me know how it fits? Also thank you so much I am thinking about starting my own ranking videos for hockey to share my own opinion and you have given me the inspiration! Thank you for all the hours I spend watching your videos!
Here is all the meaning behind AIK’s logo. The sun stands for success and is taken from the ancient greek sun god ”sol invictus” who is also called ”the invincible”. The towers on top of the shield stand for tradition and also has a connection to Stockholm, the city where AIK is from. The banner or what you can call it in english, the yellow part is for strength. The year 1891 was the year the club was formed (15th of february 1891 to be exact). The logo was designed back in 1898 i believe and has just been changed a little through the years
Vita hästen means "The white horse" and the history behind the name is that the 2 most succesful sport organisations from Norrköping (wich is where Vita hästen is from) IFK Norrköping and Sleipner combined their hockey clubs. They took the color of IFK (white) and the horse from Sleipner, wich is Odens horse in norse mythology.
fun video =) too bad my team was in the bottom two =P. Does it help if i say that we have a former PEI Rocket player in our squad this year ? ;) haha. And your pronunciation of Tingsryd was okey =)
Vita Hästen = White Horses Björklöven = Birchleaves I think horse in Troja-Ljungby logo represents Troyan horse. In Swedish (and Finnish) j is pronounced like y in English.
Here is the history behind the Troja-Ljungby logo. I have translated it with Google Translator but it is not a perfect translation but still good enough. During the first board meeting (the meeting was held at Stig Forsberg's Chemicals store at Storgatan) a wallpaper roll fell down from its shelf, and on the flap of the roller was the Trojatapeten. There was also an emblem, a rising horse. Here is direct link to to heir homepage with the history through Google Translator: translate.google.com/translate?sl=sv&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.troja-ljungby.com%2Fforeningen%2Fhistorik%2F&edit-text=&act=url

Good guess on Almtuna, it stands for 9 of august 1932
Hello great video WE from Sweden love This videos
Såklart
14:12 Umeå also called the city of birch and thats why they're using the leaf as a logo
Just found this channel. Neat! As a logo/crest lover it's fun to hear your views on the Swedish ones.
All the best from... Sweden.
Good video. Appreciate hearing outsiders talk about leagues that are near and dear to me. Unsurprinsingly, that also means I think you get some things wrong as well haha.

In Troja-Ljungby the horse might represent the Troyan horse which is called Troja-Hästen in Swedish.

"Oskar shamn" haha. It's Oskars Hamn. Meaning Oskar's Port.
Agree that Brent got a really good swedish pronunciation!
Great video, finally got to see the leauge with my team in it (top three so im happy). The L in Ljungby is silent, same as the H in Hjalmarsson you had in a previous video. Yes, Timrå is Timro for reading. Good job Brent. :)
In next video about Swedish hockey, Neil needs to pronounce all names, Brent knows. :)
Do finnish Mestis second highest league in finland
I'm from Timrå and fun fact the first European to ever play for the Montreal Canadiens comes from Timrå and he is a legend here. his name is Mats Näslund.
And he also hold the Rookie record for a single season as a Montreal Canadien.
Teams name is HaparandaTorneå uhc.
and plus I've been waiting for this
Fun trivia: Carl Hagelin is from Södertälje Sportklubb.
The trees in the Timrå logo is called "two pines proud" / a proud Timrå-fan :D
AIK was 2009 promoted to the SHL but they had a few players with contracts so that´s why they got invited to the KHL
That Brynäs jersey looks awesome, I was thinking about getting one, can you let me know how it fits? Also thank you so much I am thinking about starting my own ranking videos for hockey to share my own opinion and you have given me the inspiration! Thank you for all the hours I spend watching your videos!
I would love to see a video where you rank the arenas that the teams in Hockeyallsvenskan have!
I kinda like the logo you had at the 2nd to last one because the green is nice looking
Timrå is in SHL now (season 18-19)
Victor Hedman is from Modo
Nice video im from Sweden
The 'wreath' part is called laurels. Good channel.
In the leksand logo it says LIF which stands for Leksands idrottsförening
9 and 8 between the year is the actual date the team was created so it is 9th of august 1932
You forgot to mention that Victor Hedman is from Örnsköldsvik and Modo hockey too :D
Rank The arenas in swedish hockeyallsvenskan please
btw they have removed the "Reef" (?) around the Södertälje Sportklubb logo
Vita hästen means "The white horse" and the history behind the name is that the 2 most succesful sport organisations from Norrköping (wich is where Vita hästen is from) IFK Norrköping and Sleipner combined their hockey clubs. They took the color of IFK (white) and the horse from Sleipner, wich is Odens horse in norse mythology.
you have the best merch from teams!!!
Swedish doesn't use ' as a possessive marker, so when you see something like "Leksands" it's actually "Leksand's (sports club)".
Timrå changed the logo from an eagle to the logo that they have now
Can you do a video of the arenas in Alsvenskan.
Greate pronunciation of Umeå. I've been there as exchangestudent at the University. Was a greate expirience with my first Pro Hockey games.
The 9/8 in Almtuna means 9th of August 1932. EDIT: Continued to watch and you found it out by yourself! :D
I think it is 9th of August on Almtuna logo :)
do a new video for season 18/19
AIK yellow and blue??
Where do you see blue?
Du vet väl att AIKs logga har blå och inte svart?
Their logo is dark blue and yellow, their jersey colors are black and yellow.

Luleå has been changing their logo a couple of times.
Heyo Modo is the club where Peter Forsberg and Sedin brothers grow up and play for :)
Om du lyssnat ordentligt så sa dom också det, slakabonne! lol
fun video =) too bad my team was in the bottom two =P. Does it help if i say that we have a former PEI Rocket player in our squad this year ? ;) haha.

I think horse in Troja-Ljungby logo represents Troyan horse. In Swedish (and Finnish) j is pronounced like y in English.
Here is the history behind the Troja-Ljungby logo. I have translated it with Google Translator but it is not a perfect translation but still good enough.

The logo is small (in europe) indeed but it's always placed on the upper left, closest to the heart :)
Why do you wear a Brynäs sweater?
How can u not get the trojan horse? Their name is literally "Troja" :D
Thanks for the comment! I'm actually not uploading content on this channel anymore, but I would love it if you could subscribe to my new channel Post2Post Productions where I am making more Hockey content! ruclips.net/user/post2postproductions
