    As an accountant/auditor I had a couple Pentel 535's with the sliding sleeve in the 70's Such a great pencil back then! I wrote so many miles with them. My favorite till reading about the Orenz!

    Thanks a lot for your great review! I've purchased Pentel Orenz Nero 0.5 mm today. It's definetly stylish and practical pencil.

    this is a wonderful demonstration, I was so confused with all the Orenz lines and features, u explained everything so well. now the only thing I need is an Orenz Nero x the auto rotate mechanism of Kuru toga, and my dream mechanical pencil is complete lol

    I use mechanical pencils for sketching, most people I know use them for technical drawing & maths. The autoadvancing feat is nice when you're making large geometrical drawings. I hate having a tiny bump in the line because I had push the lead again. 😅
    Also, the sound is so good in this & the previous video!

      Because it sounds like you were not using it correctly. Im sure a year later you figured it out tho!

    Thanks for your great review. I enjoyed it just as much as your beautiful hands and correct pencil holding. Thank you.

    Great review! I always appreciate the high level of detail. I've found other brands that use the sliding sleeve to protect the lead, and are auto-advancing, but I've only been able to find one pencil that auto-advances and auto-rotates. Is the Uni Kuru Toga Dive the only pencil that does that or are there others? I was just curious because it looks like it is a pricey pencil. Thank you!

    I’m not a student, but I do use mechanical pencils. I prefer to use higher quality ones. Thank for this review.

    Faber Castel,makes te best lead holders and wooden pencils. Pentel makes the best mechanical pencils. KUM makes the best sharpeners. Lyra makes the best kneadable eraser. Tombow makes the best plastic erasers. Arches watercolor Hot pressed, is the best paper for Graphite pencil drawings.

    I had an old model pentel, yesterday it broke and I have to change it after having it for 17 years. Now I want to buy the pentel orenz at advance. I wanted to ask if this model is heavy, if the housing is all metal or has the same plastic?

    What lead do you recommend for a 0.3 and the 0.5 Nero ? I find HB Nanodia too pale.
    Thanks

    Didn't Pilot do that with the lead pipe way back in the 80s? I have the Pilot Shaker and it can do exactly that.

    • @Yoseka
      @Yoseka  Год назад +1

      Yes, Pilot's auto advancement pencil was the Automac released in the 1980s! The sliding sleeve is Pentel's :)

    I’ve bought a Orenz Nero 0.3mm but i found it quite scratchy, especially when writing in a relatively horizontal angle

    • @Yoseka
      @Yoseka  Год назад

      Scratchiness definitely comes with the territory when we're looking at 0.3 pencils unfortunately! Most pencils in general do have more scratchiness than a gel or ballpoint pen
