"You're dead to me" is a phrase saying that you no longer care about somebody because of something they did, something they are doing, or who they became. He still cares, but he is saying his partner died in that room. He is saying that the hexcore took over his body and assimilated Victor's memories, but it is NOT Victor in control and instead Victor is dead. His friend is gone and he's following through with his friend's final wish to destroy the Hexcore(which is now technically Victor).

Jayce is pointing out that Victor is already gone, and that he (Jayce) has finally realized it. Another big hint towards this is that when Jayce encounters Salo in the Hexgate room, the room is refrigerated. Jayce's breathing in the room produces condensation clouds... Salo's does not, because he's no longer alive after the conversion process.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions... Growingly desperate desire to help people, that starts turning malicious as a result of his experiance. It turns the scene where humans get turned into mindless hivemind of robots, into a tragic ascendency... regretable trimph on path to creating an utopia for people. "That which inspires us to our greatest good... is also the cause of our greatest evil". Viktor's story is so perfectly heartbreaking in my opinion. "Will they still let me over if I cross the line?"
14:35 I had this same theory as soon as Viktor emerged from his cocoon, that what emerged was actually the Hexcore seeing the world through Viktor's (and to a lesser degree Sky's) eyes, and was trying to figure out its programming. And in the end, it decided it didn't need Sky's psyche in it, and it didn't need anything besides Viktor's intellect.
The hexcore was using Sky's likeness as a substitute for itself since it knew Viktor would respond better to her than it. It's a minor manipulation of a symbiotic being attempting to work together with the human host it's inhabiting. It's why when the fake image fades out the voice changes. The voice change as well as multiple scenes before it in earlier episodes are eluding to the fact that that's not Sky. It's the hexcore projecting Sky in it's place to better facilitate the symbiotic relationship.

It was due to her being apart of it that Viktor still retained part of his humanity and empathy, but when he chose to “evolve” he removes the last parts of his humanity aka Sky and thats why he wont miss their talks
If you look closely the robot that attacked Jayce and Mel had the same markings as the guy who Victor first healed and the guy who Vander helped in the bar to get all his money owed. Victor did that dude dirty.

Vi meant it literally when she told Cait that “the undercity would eat her alive” lol The Vi and Caitlyn romance scene was appropriate to me. Before Jinx left she told Vi to be with Cait and to prioritise her own happiness. Vi was in a vulnerable place, she’s grieving and is at her lowest point. Shes been attacked by her sister again and feels that Jinx has betrayed her. She was spiralling and blaming herself for everything that’s gone wrong in her life, saying she “chooses wrong every time. She was worried that Caitlyn would hate her for “messing up” again, only for Caitlyn to say that she knew Vi would let Jinx out. That showed Vi that Caitlyn had learned to trust her again. Vi needed comforting and Caitlyn was there to reassure her, once Vi knew that Cait trusted her again she seized the moment and kissed her. Them hooking up right then felt really organic to me, it captured the spontaneous side of romance, it felt earned. People are acting this is the first time in history where characters have spontaneously hooked up, it happens all the time. Especially before the final battle. Jinx saying “break the cycle” in response to Vi asking her what she’s gonna do, is cryptic as hell. I had no idea that Jinx was suicidal until I watched the next episode, I’ve seen a lot of people reacting to the show and they didn’t know what Jinx meant. A lot of the people I spoke irl didn’t know Jinx was suicidal until episode 9. I don’t blame Vi at all for not knowing fully what her sister was implying. Vi was also grieving and spiralling and is in a super bad place, she doesn’t know that Jinx is suicidal. Caitlyn comforted her and she took a moment for herself for like the first time in the entire show, everything she’s done up to that point has been for other people. I really don’t think it was out of place as both Cait and Vi didn’t have the full understanding of what Jinx was going through. Like I said Vi was vulnerable and thinking about how she always “messes up” and Cait comforted her. It felt natural to me. Vi doesn’t just care about Jinx she cares about Caitlyn. And again Jinx told Vi to be with Cait and that she shouldn’t feel guilty about being with Cait. It worked for me. Also people act like season 1 didn’t have a sex scene with Jayce and Mel that kept cutting back to Viktor dying lol. And before people go “they didn’t know Viktor was dying”, Jayce watched Viktor cough up blood and bleed from his nose. He knew something was wrong with his best friend, but chose to bang Mel rather than check on Viktor in the lab. Btw I had no problem with the scene either, but people seem to gloss over Jayce and Mel hooking up to complain about Vi and Cait hooking up.
I agree 100% It felt natural to me as well, especially because of all the shit Vi has been going through. She has been trying to protect everyone around her and has always put others before herself. The fact that she finally has Caitlyn back, someone who can give her the same love and comfort vis always wanted/needed for years is why I can understand how eager vi was to show her love towards Caitlyn. Another reason why i think the make out was so spontaneous is because there's a literal war about to happen lol. They don't know if they'll come out alive or not and they might as well show each other their love while the have the chance. I do however wish the scene took place within Caitlyn's room lol. I understand the parallels and stuff but Cait's room would have been more hygienic lol. I also wish we could have seen Cait give a more emotional apology or an emotional talk between them but seeing as the creators of arcane were told they had to cut out a lot of scene i think the creators handled the make out scene well. There is tons of footage we'll never get to see, not just with vi and Cait but Ekko and jinx which is a shame. If we had the hour long episodes there probably would have been more of an opportunity between vi and Cait to have more of an emotional talk/longer scene with each other. But overall i think the make out scene was done very well and I don't think it was unnatural at all.

Me and my friends had this same conversation, it's really hard to determine, because the scale and structure of each season is very different, yet plays off of itself so well. Ahhh I love that about it tho
Some of the minor characters like Loris were crafted in a way that they could be skins of LoL champions, rather than just BEING those champions. Aaron is right in that Loris is very similar to Braum in how he fights, but there is no real lore reason why Braum would be in Piltover; he's VERY tied to the Freljord. Most skins in LoL represent the same characters from different parts of the League multiverse, but occasionally they'll represent a different character entirely that just has very similar abilities (Chosen of the Wolf Pantheon is a recent example). Loris gives Riot the opportunity to make an Arcane skin for Braum if they should ever choose to do so.

Season 2 had the potential to be great, but there's just too many plot holes, and became a vehicle for introducing future shows set in the universe and spin offs. By the end, it was just another Marvel movie
Here's an interesting bootstrap: Where did Jayce's jagged hammer come from? He went to his future and got the hammer from his corpse, a future version of himself who failed his mission from Viktor, who gave him the hammer from his corpse....
and this is why shows need to stop with the time travel/ parallel universe stuff. It leaves a ton of holes, especially when its suddenly jammed into the story.
There is no Sky guys. She doesn't exist technically. Its Hexcore Viktor ve been in Season 2 episode 1 who talks to him but mimics and assimilates Sky look to get to Viktor human side. When Victor starts to transform into astral being his human parts dissapering so Hexcore doesn't need to mimic Sky anymore. Cause Viktor dosent have emotions anymore. It knows Viktor without emotions wouldnt need someone to talk or be with. Thats why It says you won't lol
I hate the change they've made to Viktor's overall character, but then they reflect it into the actual MOBA. Meaningless change. I also kind of hate how we got LeBlanc in this. Kind of a waste of her character, a good demonstration of what the power she has is actually like but she unidentifiable as who she is. At least they're apparently adding Mel to the MOBA.

Small detail but a very somber realization that the reason they buried Rictus and other Noxians feet first is probably because they’re used to having to bury so many people in a small amount of space (like Calvin commented) because of just how warlike Noxus is.

The character they confused with Loris in the game is called Braum.
Which is kinda nuts, considering Braum has a VERY prominent accent, never wears shirts, and looks absolutely nothing like Loris. Their literal only similarity is "fights with giant shield."
Season 2 had the potential to be great, but there's just too many plot holes, and became a vehicle for introducing future shows set in the universe and spin offs. By the end, it was just another Marvel movie

and this is why shows need to stop with the time travel/ parallel universe stuff. It leaves a ton of holes, especially when its suddenly jammed into the story.

There is no Sky guys. She doesn't exist technically. Its Hexcore Viktor ve been in Season 2 episode 1 who talks to him but mimics and assimilates Sky look to get to Viktor human side. When Victor starts to transform into astral being his human parts dissapering so Hexcore doesn't need to mimic Sky anymore. Cause Viktor dosent have emotions anymore. It knows Viktor without emotions wouldnt need someone to talk or be with. Thats why It says you won't lol

I hate the change they've made to Viktor's overall character, but then they reflect it into the actual MOBA. Meaningless change.
I also kind of hate how we got LeBlanc in this. Kind of a waste of her character, a good demonstration of what the power she has is actually like but she unidentifiable as who she is. At least they're apparently adding Mel to the MOBA.

UPDATE: The Wave Cave will be closed starting Dec 23rd after the Dune finale for our Christmas break. We’ll be returning to the studio on Jan 6th when we’ll be catching up on our other live shows, which will be postponed, aside from Dune and Arcane.
