Challenger with a fork mounted fairing = new chieftain. I like the increase in engine size though. Good way to cut costs on building two separate bikes. But I love the sound of the traditional air cooled engine.
Agreed, but I don’t want it to be just a stripped down Challenger. I want the current Chief with a PowerPlus or its own liquid cooled engine. I’m just not a fan of the arched or hump back looking tank on the PowerPlus models.
@@robertjablonski9830 cuz of low down torque. U do know that cruisers way around 700 pounds if not more and a sports bike or even naked bike is 400 pounds right so they are still slow no matter how big it gets but maybe they’re getting big because of low torque
Between Indian and H-D, American motorcycles are getting closer and closer to being two-wheeled cars. Im just waiting for one of these companies to blink and then put a roof over the rider.
"Sophisticated styling"? I know it's subjective but that would be better used referring to the Vic CCT. I like the job Polaris is doing with these but they all look like the same ole, same ole just like HD puts out.😢
Indian was never beging for a loan from the government to survive like Herlay Davidson(they did that twice). Indian mopes the floor with harley. One and only. The oldest motorcycle company is USA INDIAN 1901
I run into about 4 guys lime you a summer. "You know that's not a real Indian right..." well, my registration says Indian🤷🏼♂️ what is real or fake is a matter of opinion
If Dave and Bill didn't build the bike, it's not a real Indian. The new hires don't build real indians. If the original owner of the company died, it's not the same company. If the CEO changes it's not the same company. (Insult bullshit excuse, why it isn't a real Indian.)
that engine is ugly! looks like a Japanese engine with Harley pricing, why would u buy the Indian? sorry but they have not been around since 1902 they were MIA around the 50's. u need to lower the prices to se if ppl want to give u guys a try I would if it were 5k cheaper than Harley equivalent I might give u guys a try witht he 10k scout cuz its 10k
ONE and ONLY the mighty, the oldest motorcycle company in USA Indian 1901.
Proud owner of Indian Cheftain! Goodspeed.
126 hp. I'll take it. Adding this motor to the Chieftain was a great move. Now I'll need to decide which one I like more...
We need a better pricing entry point so that younger riders can get into motorcycling.
That’s what the Scout is for.
@@EightTrackYT Not cheap enough
They can spend $8k on a used scout. If they need it to be cheaper, they can stfu and buy a bicycle.
@logangodofcandy Buying used doesn't help Indian. Why do you *want* motorcycles to be too expensive?

? Challenger with a fork mounted fairing is a pursuit..
@Excesv A Pursuit has a frame mounted fairing. It's basically a Challenger with a trunk and lowers included.
Could you add an large screen curve? I think is the only thing is missing for perfect motorcycle, please
Nice 👍🏻
Please Indian be more creative with color options!
Is the cheiftain just a pursuit with out a fix fairing?
They finally made the Road Master with liquid cool. I'm gonna be in trouble with my wife....
Add the powerplus into a stripped bike Ala super Chief then I will gladly trade in my Scout

@jbradkilpatrick agreed. A sport Chief with a Challanger type engine would be great. A big brother so to speak to the sport scout ot 101.
buy a spostbike if u want speed.. this is a cruiser
@@gigi9467 then why are engines getting stupid big. BTW Cruisers are not baggers LOL

Now come up with some better paint and colors.
What about the FTR???
Discontinued:/
Are they really America oldest motorcycle company was a huge gap where Indian wasn’t being made

They’re touring bikes dude. There’s plenty of minimalist American bikes to choose from.

Put a Powerplus in the Scout you cowards
Indian stopped building motorcycles in 1953 now polaris is building motorcycles using the Indian name
And AMF built motorcycles from 1969-1981 using harley-davidsons name. Bottom line is Indian is putting harley-davidson to shame!
