I can't get off of this song... Sumner, Marr, And Tennant... What a mix of musicians... I grew up on New Order/Joy Division threw my mom. Well after getting into the smiths in high school I came to the conclusion that Johnny Marr was my favorite guitar player of all time. His Rifts and Melodies are second to non in my book. I've always loved the petshop boys, They were one of those bands I would hear as a child, and find myself dancing and singing along.. So to see these three collaborate under electronic warms my hears.
THExViCExSHOW The patience of a Saint is a True Duet of Neil and Bernard- its the only one I believe, and song cowritten sumner and lowe :p I'm thinking of starting a female Electronic/No tribute act in LA...no one has done it really and ive got the passion and knowledge and the desire to !! i have adopted Bernad's mid 80s mannerisms totally...
Played this for my H.S. students today. Not because I really care what they think (because they usually are so self-centered that they can't), but because I just wanted to hear it. This song turned some heads and resulted in more than a few "Hey, who WAS that?" inquiries.
I was in high school at the time that this comment was posted, and it was around the time that I discovered this song. I loved it then, and I love it now! I would have appreciated one of my high school teachers playing this song!
