I truly appreciate the sheer madness of the man who created this mod, it takes a special brand of crazy to commit so hard to such a dumb/fun bit and it was super worth it.
His videos are incredibly fun to watch if anyone hasn't seen them. He basically had to undo the spaghetti code of Halo CE and recreate it
Originally Halo Kart was it's own multiplayer mod for Halo PC, but it doesn't work in MCC so Inferno put it into Cursed v3 rather than just have it sitting unusable
Play Pals is seriously the best series. Michael and his Heterosexual Life-Partner Gavin are just so fun to watch.

The introduction part is pure gold oh my god.
Seeing the Mario 64 castle in Mario Kart is like seeing the classic Halo 1 Library for a bit at the end of Quarantine Zone in Halo 2, when the chapter says "that old familiar feeling".

Yeah, the editing was absolutely terrible. I counted almost half-a-dozen skips in a thirty second time period.
After watching Ray struggle with this because the AI gunner was so bad it's very funny watching Gav/Michael get through it so easy
Johnson blasting them off of the jump with the rocket was such a good clip though

Man... two player on those races looks a whole lot easier than single player lol! It took me dozens of retrys to get up to third place
I like how at the very beginning 353 Guilty Kart he says "in order to active the ring's defense system, you must complete 5 races" and yet they are surprised every time they make it to another race, classic achievement hunter haha
To be fair, the very last time is understandable because there's actually *6* races.

My favorite part is listening to them talk about childhood memories that I also had! I used to set up my little tent in the backyard and run an extension cable out with a power strip 😂 No idea why my parents wouldn’t approve of it 🤷♂️🤣 Had to do something after they took away my couch fortress!

Got to be one of the biggest cuts ever - go from leaving the control room to the first Gen. I get they must get more views on their fast cut short videos but stuff like this I’d happily watch 1-2 hour videos of this.
This whole series has been cutting stuff left and right. I'm constantly playing catch up to figure out what's going on.
I really don't care for these cuts. I watched through both of Ray's playthroughs uncut and they were so engaging

The fact that the Halo CE engine can do all of this is a testament to the excellent groundwork Bungie laid.
If anything it's working off the Halo Custom Edition. Which had mod tools implemented into it. So it's less so Bungie and more so Gearbox.
I think if you asked InfernoPlus, the author of this mod, he'd have a lot of love for bungie but he'd also tell you this was a massive pain in the ass that took an insane amount of effort for what it is.

the fact they got through moo moo on their first try drives me mad I probably had like 30 attempts where I just kept getting flipped or shelled or whatever, looks like this is easier in co-op as johnson is absolutely useless in comparison to someone with a brain and the fuel rod

Great episode. The reaction to Halo Kart. Seeing how much easier coop is to single player. Seeing the duo casually killing the friendly grunts and elite (multiple times). Missing the big magnum is basically a trope at this point.
Boardwalk was N64! Fantastic idea for some levels these were, haha.

Halo Kart needs to be its own mod and perhaps that is the mario kart that they can actually beat matt in.
It already is. Or at least with the Custom Edition of Halo and not MCC. The same mod.creator made it years ago, InfernoPlus. He's done much more than just Cursed Halo

I feel so bad for everyone that plays solo. Without a co-op partner to shoot the racing segment can easily take over an hour because Johnson isn't a great shot, and will often flip you.
I frikkin' love Gavin & Michael Play videos, and this start was indeed brilliant. Can't wait for the next Bunnyman episode!

I like how every racer is just halo characters but then at the end you have Dante and Goku huh lol. Would’ve been even more funny if it was Vergil instead of Goku saying “ are you motivated” whenever you pass them.

1. Laso is too long as a adult can't watch that all in 1 sitting something comes up
2. Haven't really enjoyed the current Laso as much compared to Halo 4 Laso but that's a personal opinion

I did the same thing as Michael in the summertime because I’d have friends over and my folks would be like “go outside, it’s nice out.” We’d go out on the porch with the full-width roof and power outlets and take my small tv and whichever console out and set it up on the patio table. They honestly thought going outside was gonna get us away from Halo or Mario Kart or NCAA Football or March Madness. 😂

I hope the concept of what happened here becomes its own game. Each race car has two or more, one driver, rest shoots, or some other role. You can exit and enter your crew vehicle. You win by killing opponents or by finishing the race. Each player has three lives. And if you lose your race by being killed three times you come back as a ghost racer becoming obstacles to still playing and eligible players if you kill players and cause them to become a ghost racer you come back to life with only one life.
We need more face cams for this series please!!

I wonder if Inferno will release Halo Kart multiplayer for Steam--though he might have already said it doesn't work.

Today I learned that the Halo Kart levels in Cursed Halo Again are a lot easier when you have a somewhat competent second on your side. When you play single player, you get Johnson. Don't get me wrong, I love the character of Johnson, but the AI in Halo is not the best backup gunner.
Also, loved the reactions to it. I have been waiting for the day that they reached this part. Can't wait for them to do the Karen, sorry, Keyes level.
