Great debate this.. when my brother played professional in the eighties, one day you where top of the tree then boom you where dumped into the real world.. most had no qualifications or clue what to do.PFA support was negligible back then ..wages then as a footballer in division 2 in England where not great and so very few retired with a decent pension..( my brother played over 350 games during 14 years and his pension was only £900 a year.. Seeing how he and his fellow professionals struggled to make the transition to a “ normal “ life makes me realise how important your charity is..and these discussions are, to help anyone thats still playing full time to prepare themselves for what is to come at some point.. Great work..👏👏💙
