The thing with the suitcase. Greg's kind of right, she didn't lie about their being a suitcase. But she made damn sure she said it was Brown when she sure as hell know it was olive green. And the suitcase she put poor Gannon in, was his mother's and she knew it!

When I was young, we would as friends use “Whopper with cheese” as our code for people telling lies.. as soon as detail comes in that’s branching into bull 💩

One of my favorites of the "newer" Columbo series from late 80's- early 90's.

@@melaniejennings8945 I love the Johnny cash episode, too! Did you see the pilot, “Prescription Murder”? Peter Falk was well-dressed, it was Columbo in an alternate universe😊. There’s so many popular actors today who had bit parts in Columbo episodes…so cool!😎

The KAA RAYZEE thing about this is-she thinks giving her code to smone she doesn’t know is going to cause her trouble or problems; BUT she doesn’t think that lying about the child’s abduction WONT?

So I worked at that Kum and Go. Her, Al ,and the kids would stop in. I had a normal day of work they did not come in the store that day. Gannon was not there. Then the next day I come into work and it looks like a damn circus. Police and news crew. So I showed law enforcement the video. I had a manager at the time that did something weird I don't know. I just couldn't believe she was lying about him being there. It just sucked because everybody out here knew she was lying right away. That whole incident affected everyone in Colorado Springs. And we all knew she was lying not because of her body movements or language. It was because she was telling people things that were not true. She would go so far is to tell an eyewitness they didn't see what they thought they did. I feel for Gannon's mother and father and sister. They seems like they were kind of close like my kids. Now they hate each other but when they were little they were inseparable. I can tell Gannon actually loved and adored Leticia. It hurts way too much to even think about what he went through. I don't understand how she could go through with it. Well I do understand but I don't understand how you could do that. I understand she was looking at him like an object. And she was using him in her game of manipulation. I believe things were going to work out a lot different in her head. I believe it was twofold. One to hurt Al and Ganon's mother. The other fold to play this role of this poor mother who lost her child. Everybody was supposed to react much differently than we did. We don't or didn't ( Kum and Go doesn't exist anymore ) have a lot of cashiers. So it was just me and a manager. Just the thought that I would have been the last person to see him killed me. Because it did go through my mind " did he come in?" But I was almost 100% sure he was not there that day In my memory. That's the best part about video surveillance let me tell you.

Oh there is also a military leak or couple because of this. I'm pretty sure you can still find them I just don't have time to look it up. And I already had the view them the first time. So apparently someone in the military had information that they were searching the dump site for suitcases. This brilliant soldier decided to tell his spouse. She then got on social media and blasted everything and started arguing with people that she knew because her husband was a soldier and he was tasked I think. 😂 So we all found out they were looking for a suitcase.

Rumination is our survival instinct. It’s why we go over things, in an effort not to repeat mistakes. This means we log the major details. The level at which she keeps adding detail that is non connected or deviation away from the truth. It’s all deflecting behaviour.
