🤔 I haven't noticed that, perhaps she's smiling cuz her dead lover save the universe from the Reapers, she did say that Asarians don't focus on the death of a person or other Aliens that becomes their lovers.
Destruction ending is hardly the best ending. It doesn't fix the main issue the saga tackles, (The conflict between synthetics and organics) and it renders the second half of ME 3 (The Quarian/Geth war) useless if you play with a Paragon Shepard as you commit genocide on every synthetic in the galaxy. The only good thing about that ending is that Shepard survives in the end but that's about it. This is probably why this ending will be the canon one for ME4 because it truly doesn't fix any of the major issues. You may have stopped the reapers but organics will eventually create new synthetics and conflicts like the Quarian/Geth one will happen eventually.
@@warchiefvenomn7612I think destruction does solve the issue, especially if you make peace between the geth and the quarians or side with the geth. Shepard has demonstrated repeatedly that synthetics can live cooperate alongside organics (ex. EDI or the geth) and with a destruction ending, the societies that have learned these harsh lessons from conflict w/ synthetics can rebuild and not repeat those paranoid mistakes. Cereberus and Saren have showed why control won’t work, and synthesis aka restructuring billions of lives without consent, is morally questionable even if you disregard the possible indoctrination aspect of that. Destroy is the only option that makes sense: additionally, previous races like the Protheans were the apex predators of their galaxy (including the Leviathans who created the reapers), we don’t have that in this cycle. The asari may be the most advanced but by no means are they an apex predator, in fact their biology encourages them to form relations with other species. Various races cooperate in science, culture, and governance, possibly like never before. Many races built upon the crucible across various cycles but this cycle is able to end the reapers forever because we have outlived their purpose. starbrat tells us we are the first organic to make it as far as we did and it’s because our galaxy has become able to cooperate as one, that is worth preserving as it is at all costs, as it is. Who knows how many millions of years it took to accomplish that much? Remove the reapers entirely, they have no use anymore, and let the galaxy, changed only by the experience they have gone through, rebuild
I romanced Kelly on my first run thru. (Kaiden×thane×kelly) and missed out on the fact that liara is cannon for both fem and male shep. I'll have to do another run and be faithful to liara.
If Shephard and Liara weren't going to be the focus in "Andromeda", they could have at least had a cameo role where they're both happily married with children.
That's impossible, because Andromeda sets in 2183, right when Shepard discovers the threat of the Reapers, and when the arks arrive in Andromeda, it's been literally hundred of years and they have no way to communicate with the milky way
crossing fingers...... but shepard would have to come back from the dead......n it looks like she will........plus they both said goodbye to each other at end
Man, Liara and Tali are my favorite romances by far, Garrus is fine too, but this might just be my favorite with Tali second. And damn ... the ending always makes me tear up. But imagine the happiness we can see when Shepard comes back a third time, the unkillable Commander 🥰. Heres hopeing they take the time they need to make ME4 live up to the legacy ... Unlike the ungraceful Child that shall not be mentioned 😂
Hey hey hey.. i only play as femshep and i only end up romancing Liara.. Is because i like Hale's performance as FemShep.. The VA, the timing.. Certainly not for those blueblubs... Obsessed?! I just watch a 5h movie i would hardly call that an obsession! xD
Femshep is sooo much better than the male version for this romance, they have a lot more chemistry than with male shep just cuz of the delivery of the voiceacting
You missed some details in ME3 :( After rescuing and extracting Ann Bryson, if you talk to Liara, she asks whats your thing with rescuing scientists, and that she'll become jealous if you help Ann take down the Shadow Broker. Also, when Shepard takes the diving mech in Leviathan, Liara goes up to you and asks you if you're serious about taking the mech, and to be careful UwU EDIT: You also missed a pretty funny dialogue, if you take Garrus and Liara in Sur'Kesh, when they encounter the Yahg, they will joke about it, it's really cool. Liara doesn't enjoy the joke though LMAO
@34:13 I always thought it was cute when she winks at her - if you use the mod to romance Miranda, Miranda winks at her too right before they make love.
I've yet to see the ending I got when I played OG ME3. Liara breaks the board with Sheppard's name on it and as it fades to black before the credits play she says, "I will find you.". Has anyone else gotten this ending?
I need shepard back in the next game with liara. I know some people have said we should move past Shepard, but i can’t agree. I just love her character so much
If Ever there was a Mass Effect 5 where Shepherd is alive under all that rubble, I think Liara should step up her romance Abit more ....like whenever Fem Shepard barges on into her quarters she could be sort of semi dress and working at same time .... Like trying to put her clothes on and answer an email at same time or be in her dressing gown in midst of working ...... I'm pretty sure Femshep would not hesitate to respond 😃
This was the best romance option in the series has all the best scenes and chemestry together plus they are just a very cinematic romance. If we are playing a new character for the next game id love them to make these too a cannon choice and maybe have sheaperds daughter as a companion
I was comparing the scene at the end of og me1 with the LE one, and noticed they made Liara thicker and changed the camera angle a little so you can't see between the legs as much, since the og one had a little uh... interesting looking silhouette showing, which might have been a little too much, especially since the LE scene is much brighter and clearer. Just a little fun fact.
Even though I’m a woman, I’ve always played a male shep since it’s who i knew up using. i didn’t know how much the dialogue changes depending on gender. this same scene with male shep is definitely more aggressive, while liara speaks more softly to fem shep. interesting.
Really? Interesting, same goes for me though, I've always used male shep, but decided to go with female shep for the Remastered versions, as they finally added femshep across all 3 games
Male Shepard gets more emotion from Liara in some scenes. When Liara takes over as the Shadow Brokee, she cries more with Male Shep. Liara also holds Male Shep's hand at the end of the Citadel DLC but does not with Fem Shep. Minor things that hopefully the devs will be mindful of in 4
This is what I did - save the council - don't kill wrex - save the rachni queen - save maelon's data - keep both legion and tali loyal so you can make peace with the geth and quarians. Don't get tali exiled (don't rat her dad out, use the paragon or renegade speech checks or rally the crowd, works if you let veetor go with tali and if you saved reegar) - keep zaeed and kasumi alive AND loyal (when you do their missions in me3 you can get the best outcome) - do all the side missions in mass effect 3. complete all the dlcs (from ashes, omega, leviathan, citadel) - cure the genophage - save the rachni queen again. keep grunt loyal so you can have them both as war assets - choose destroy And of course, romance Liara throughout all the three games
From what I gathered, it was to show how Shepard is pretty much dealing with the effects of war. So PTSD/grief/stress. She has always gone believing she can save everybody , but watching a child die right before her eyes sort of brought reality crashing down on her pretty harshly. I'm not good with wording stuff, I just know there's a lot of symbolism to be had within these sequences and how the writers are trying to convey how heavy a burden being a hero is that everybody depends on.
Well at the end we saw that Shepard lived, she took a breath under the rubble so there's a chance. Massive L for the geth and edi though, unfortunately.
The only way to have Shepard alive was by killing EDI and the other machine's in that beautiful game for a live Shepard in that fun game that I'm aware of to me.
I think it's meant to be a rekindle option in case you reject her at 1:51:08 but they must've forgot to code the game to check what option you selected during that conversation (there's a few bugs like that, like when you meet Conrad Verner in ME2, he'll always claim you shoved a gun in his face, regardless of whether or not you took the Paragon option in ME1, everyone's save file has "The Fan: Intimidate Selected" flagged - On that note, if you have a PC copy of ME2, you can unflag this choice using a save editor and get the Paragon meeting of Conrad in ME2)
