Hi friends! I'm Jennifer, a fifty-something wife and mother of 7 children ages 10 - 26. We are Catholic. We homeschool. We cook from scratch. We farm cranberries. We drink coffee. We advocate for Down syndrome awareness. We are loud. We are chaotic.
Here I'll share vlogs about all these things, what I'm doing that works and what I've tried but didn't work. I hope to encourage you in your journey through motherhood, homeschooling, learning to cook, and growing in your faith through it all.

Thank you for putting that part with Joe and the green bean. It brought a smile to my face!
I could see the love in your face when you were looking at Joe after he said “yes sir” instead of yes ma’am. Love these vlogs and thanks for giving us a peek into life in Wisconsin! And cranberries! ❤
Always look forward to your videos Jennifer!
So do I!
Me too!
Me three. She’s exactly who I want to be when I grow up. I’m 46 I hope it’s happening soon 😬
Amen 🙏 ❤😊
@@leighbishop6213 I don't even know if I'm who I want to be when I grow up.......whenever that happens.
Every time I watch your channel I can't believe that it hasn't really grown. Your content has so much quality. Also, how has Joe become a grown man overnight!!
Thank you Nancy. I appreciate that. The best way to help me out is to share my content with your friends and family and click the thumbs up for me. You're the best.
Your family is so cool Jennifer ! You truly are a country family and a Country life. GOD Bless you !
Ditto!
That is what we do with our blackstone, Jennifer. We spray some water on it and my boyfriend uses a scraper (the ones that come with the blackstone) to get the "gunk" off. Then he puts a little bit of olive oil and uses a papertowel to spread it. He says it extends the life a lot.
Love hearing joe sing , and get in camera and try green bean 😊❤
I enjoyed seeing you harvest the beautiful carrots from your garden!! Fresh veggies 🥕👏👏👏
Jennifer, your videos are Always a pleasure to watch!🤗 Thank you for sharing the Yummy 😋 Yummy meals you've prepared!!
That's ok

I loved Joe doing his take on the green beans. He is such a sweetie!!
Yay! I love it when a new video comes out! 😁
You're quick tonight! It's been a low TV night with all the college football.
Looks delicious and yummy 😋 😍 👌 😊 👍 😊
I so enjoy your videos. They are real life, casual, homecooking that are inspiring when I get into a rut of making the same ole same ole. 😊
Hello Jennifer, your apple 🍎 and walnut bread looks so tasty. Warren is very lucky!!! God bless the Brockmans!
I love your house...sooooooo cozy.
Joe is a natural. What a blessing he is.
Those pork chops look delicious! I really enjoy your videos.
Ooh must try that bread ! Go Packers!
Joe is the "Vanna White" of dinner plate presentation. His pay is a plateful of homemade, delicious dinner :-)
Joe is a Precious Son 😘😘
Joe, you did so well on your green been commentary! Good man, for eating your mom's green beans, I love them too!👍👍
Liked this video! No brand commercial! I know it’s the in thing . I don’t like commercials that’s why I watch videos rather than T.V. Thanks for sharing -will be looking for more without brand commercials. Just me - u got to do what works for u! ❤ from Colorado
I love that he tries food anyway! So supportive
Leftover pork chops make great breakfast meat. Especially with biscuits and gravy with them. Left over bacon grease and flour.....cook until it's medium brown then add several cups of milk and allow to slowly boil 5 or 10 minutes. Bacon gravy is AWESOME on pork chops and fried potatoes.
Love your content! Your family is awesome!
Hi Jennifer. Thoroughly enjoyed your meals of the week. Maybe the title should have been pecans/pralines and thyme (LOL). Joe and the green bean--priceless! And always good to see Warren. Hugs.
You spilled praline aure all down your “drawers”. Growing up in Louisiana, we called our bloomers , or underwear, “drawers”. 😂thought you’d get a chuckle. Hey, gotta laugh n keep on going! Looks like it all ended well and you had enough. All of your meals are so lovingly prepared and comforting and nutritious. I just love your videos! Thank you for all of the work you put into them so that we can enjoy them.
Hi Joe! 🫛green beans are so good! 🥰
👍
Hehe!
I think it is so nice how Warren compliments your cooking.
Such a pleasure to hang out in your kitchen with you!
Thank you for sharing your meals with us..
You are so welcome!
I love seeing your family you guys are so sweet .
Oh my word, that bread looks SO GOOD!! If you're not making a mess in the kitchen, you ain't really cooking girl! lol, bless you! That kind of mess is never fun to deal with, but it sure does happen! Thank you for sharing your days with us, I just love it!
Oh what comfort and joy! I'm blahed with a sinus infection and wiped out. So happy for some lovely unwinding Jennifer time while getting littes to sleep
❤❤❤
Hi Joe! Love seeing his sweet face & his comments on green beans. ❤
The pork chops has me drooling! I know it’s been awhile since I commented and don’t always but absolutely love your channel and look forward to your videos, always!!! ❤ Lots of Love to you and your family! 🤗
Thanks for an inspiring video! I can relate to dropping everything and chatting with our adult children when they call! ❤️😆!
The chicken with pecan topping looked interesting. Appreciate your honesty!👩🏻🍳
All the food in this video looked outstanding!! But my absolute "wanna try it" would be that pork chop meal. The entire meal looked too good to be true! Nicely done Jennifer! Your kids are amazing... Peter, Joe and Maria. They reflect so well on you and Warren. Truly a blessed family. Thank you for the time you invest in these videos during your "more busy" seasons.. i.e.; harvest, hunting and then straight into the holidays. Hugs... (P.S. - A winner is a win... and always take one where you can get one.. and I'm sure you have plenty of wins!!)
Yum yum yum! Yummy Supper. 😊❤🙏
Ms. Ruby
Thanks so much! 😊
I love soup and that looks delicious! Wow beautiful apple bread yes please ! Yes sometimes bobby-pins give me a headache . The tenderloin looks like filet mignon . I love basil 🌿 thank you for sharing ! 🎄⛄️🎄
🤗
Those Carrots 🥕 are Gorgeous Praline Cake Yum 😋 Good 👍 Job Joe Green Beans 😅
I always enjoy your videos. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to include us. (Especially we who are empty nesters and miss the hustle and bustle of family life with kids!) Thank Joe for me for showing me how to eat a green bean! lol I loved it!
I was just looking for a video from you when this showed up!!! Yay!!!
Your food always looks delicious. We appreciate all of your hard work. Thank you!
Jennifer I cooked for 4 children and my work for years was working in restaurants, it’s hard to get out of cooking for a family I cook sometimes for my granddaughter and her 3 girls, she works all day I love cooking, it’s hard to stop lol
I use the insta pot to cook the chicken and then transfer to a Dutch oven like you…it is my preferred way. I dont like how the soup finishes in the insta pot…it gets too over done!
Love your videos, enjoy seeing your sweet self and your beautiful family💞
We have a good recipe for chicken that's called ..Simon and garfunkle chicken and of course the seasoning is parsley sage rosemary and thyme. Clever huh?
Growing up in Omaha Nebraska we always had warm Thanksgiving and would play outside most of the day.
I realllllly need a piece or three of that delicious looking bread!! 😀😀 Great video as always. God's blessings........🥰🥰🥰
💕💕
I have apple muffins on this week's menu, but changing it to the apple bread. Everything you prepared looked so good.
We used some thin sliced venison tenderloin last week and made Philly Cheesestake. Delicious.
Wow Jennifer, that bread looks so delicious, I would have a hard time not eating all of that, good thing you are sharing the wealth ❤
That’s a big venison tenderloin! We are in Texas and ours are smaller. I save them for Christmas morning and chicken fry them. ❤
Hi Jennifer and sweet family! That praline bread looked delicious. I love venison myself and my kids never complained about it, they where raised on it.
Joe, the green bean clip was great. Everything looked delicious. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day!
The sole bread looks like a delicious dessert bread.
*apple* bread
One time, when making peanut butter cookies, I forgot to use the fork on top for the criss cross. They turned out great with some cracks on top for a pretty cookie. I've never smashed them with a fork since. I just use a cookie scoop.
Jennifer I just love Joe He is so precious So loving and that is because of Your love and Warren much love Cathy 🙏🏻✝️☮️📿
We had two bigger roasts put it in a slow cooker over night. Cooled it down sliced it. Made beef broth. Tasted just like beef on wick. No one knew it was deer meat.
I make all my soups in the instant pot now, they are delicious, differently worth trying 😊
Thanks for sharing the info about not making venison taste like beef or anything else. My aunt would always soak it in buttermilk and tell me it tastes like country fried steak and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It made me not want to try it because my expectations were wrong.
Jennifer, you can always put some apple pie spice in the loaves…
Hi Jennifer How are you doing I think i am the first person here I really love watching you sweet Friend you are a blessing To me watching you Much love Cathy 🙏🏻✝️☮️📿🎄🎅✝️🙏🏻
Hi Cathy, You're sure quick at watching tonight. I wish you a nice weekend.

Great video 🙌♥️
We really enjoy you all so much!! love the food and Family!! Sher.
❤
Good country cooking! All looks delicious as always! Like the later time slot too 😊
All the foods and cookies/bread looked so good.❤
Jennifer will you do a garden update and homeschool content also you did one two months ago a Sucessful journey ❤😊
Would you share what noodles you used for the chicken noodle soup? It looks so good!
If you look up Kluski or Amish egg noodles you should be able to find them. They have them at the Walmart in my area (MN).
The ones I used that day were called spaetzle from Aldi. Kluski are always delicious.
Everything looked delicious, I find tyme in any sauce can overpower other flavours. What type of dried noodles did you use for your soup Jennifer? Blessings from a very cold Northern Ireland 🇮🇪 🙏 ❤
Oh that looks so good ! Where can I get the recipe ? Thanks
The problem I'm having with venison is the other people in our hunting party just want to turn it into snack sticks. So they hack at the meat any which way because in their mind it'll all be ground up. For me it's a big part of my red meat for the year and I'd like to have some steaks, not just stew meat and ground venison. They even hacked into the back straps so no steak from those 😕
JENNIFER THERE IS A RECIPE ON RUclips FOR CRANBERRY ORANGE BREAD. SARA'S BITES. HAVE YOU TRIED IT?
I think I’ve seen it, but haven’t made it.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Do you ever make chicken and dumplings 🤔
I made an meatloaf and grebb
Or try making apple cranberry bread!!@
Instead of putting vinegar in the sauce as the acid, try booze like bourbon, whiskey or even white wine
For me, I don’t like fancy sh*t lol (in reference to the pecan chicken topping). How my aunt, a 5 star chef and me, a picky eater, share the same blood, I don’t know!
Hi Again Jennifer I never put Milk in my Coleslaw is it okay in there I never tried it I will have tried it Much love Cathy 🙏🏻✝️☮️📿🌹💕🌺💜💐🎄❤️💗💙🙏🏻✝️☮️📿🍀
The original praline recipe actually used almonds. .
The recipe has evolved to use any type of nut
