A personal project i wanted to work on when i knew that all ninja turtles will die except Michelangelo .. so i started to sketch my concept of Michelangelo sitting home alone after coming back from one of the fights .. So i made The Last Ronin but in the Classic Ninjaturtles customs.
I modelled about 80% of the models and 20% from Megascans.. sculpted and modelled in Zbrush, Modo and Maya.. Retopologized and Uved in Modo and Maya .. Textured in Photoshop, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine4 .. Rendered in Unreal Engine 4 and Composited in Premiere.

Damn now that making a grown man like me crying TMNT were my childhood show
Tactical like Leonardo. Intelligent like Donatello. Hotheaded like Raphael.
Mikey embodies all three of them now..... but we lost the fun loving, carefree Mikey in the end.

You don’t have to be a fan of ninja turtles. The part when Mikey has a flashback of him and his brothers should at least make you feel bad

I think the best thing about making Mikey the survivor of the four is that I think as the youngest he always depended on his brothers emotionally. It’s easy too goof off when you know you’re older brothers are around to pick up your slack. Without them it causes him to do some serious growth and maturity
The sadness and anger in him is going to be crazy when he start fighting ppl now I wish Raphael was there to hug him and protect him

Mikey has always been my favorite, when I found out that everyone would die but one, I was sure it was going to be mikey. He was always the happy go lucky, the goof ball, he is the youngest. He was also the first turtle the creators had drawn, he started it all, and now he will be the one to ended it. Full circle, I am going to cry so hard.

The final chapter of the last ronin will be released soon. I'm still surprised they chose Michaelangelo to be the protagonist that took a dark turn instead of Leo or Raph.
Much as I wanted Donatello to be the last Rõnin...Mike really was the best choice. He's the most raw potential of the four but his laid back, fun-loving personality prevented him from this...but now that he's got nothing left to lose...bad guys ...watch out
Don also would've been a good choice to be the last one.

I agree, honestly I never cared for Donnie and I always thought that this was his time to shine
it sucks that they put the most care free loving turtle through so much pain and suffering
i feel so bad for Mikey....
It's hard to watch that's for sure, but Mikey was the perfect choice to become the last Ronin.
We all have to grow up eventually :(

Real Talk ik some people say this ruined their child hood but it may have been for the best mikey has some crazy potential to be really bad ass possibly stronger than anyone. Until now I thought of Raphael as the main character but mikey was always my favourite i hope they write this well
Not sure if this is true, but saw a comment somewhere that stated Master Splinter told Mikey that he could be the best of all four of them if he learned how to focus and stay serious.
If true, then we'll see it.

Shredder's grandson is in charge of Foot Clan who now apparently run a huge corporation with deep pockets. The details aren't out about exactly how but the grandson is apparently way smarter than Shredder so the best guess right now is he lured them into some kinda trap.

They should have made it Raphael but it would make sense and be the obvious answer because he’s the bad ass of the group but making Mikey it and making him get redemption for him and his family is very artistic I love it

They defeated them all, but there is always something last. The last enemy did them go down to the Last Ronin. And with a glimmer of hope, with a ocean of rage and revenge, he's going to end this all, by destroying the last enemy
Its really hard for Mickey to think straight when his whole family dies in front of him. If they make a movie out of this, id like to know how they died and how mickey became ronin.

Love this video love the image of the turtles and I started crying when they show the video of him being a goofball stealing pizza from his brothers seconds later seeing him all heart broken I know they're just cartoon characters but felt like a loss of family member

It is not the ending though. TMNT has many cartoon series and comics. You should treat each of them as different alternate universes. The Last Ronin's an alternative universe, a what-if story that explores the scenario where Mikey is the last turtle. In other series like the IDW comic, the Turtles are all alive.

Honestly this gave me goosebumps when I realized that all except one ninja turtle died
It cought us off guard but it makes since because the day he lost his brothers was the day he lost his happiness and Ralf would just rampage and it makes even more sense that he would use that rage to sacrifice himself for his family .

Hopefully this story is more of a "what if story" story rather than a canon one. I don't think i can handle the thought of Don Leo and Raph being dead and MIckey being put in such a sad position to have to be alone without them and feel this heart wrenching pain when he was the funniest and the most positive turtle. Though i like how his character has grown and now he's more of a badass than he's ever been.

We learned earlier this year that a TMNT game based on the Last Ronin comic was in the works. And today, THQ Nordic has officially revealed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin video game at its August 2023 digital event showcase

It is interesting to see a serious and depressed Michelangelo but it makes sense. In the Last Ronin he is no longer a teenager. He is a mature turtle and he has lost his beloved family.
