You can check out HyVibe guitars here: www.hyvibeguitar.com/. Thank you again to HyVibe for sending me this guitar and sponsoring the video! I only ever accept sponsorships for videos on products I'm personally excited about and everything I say is always my honest opinion. While I'm not typically an acoustic guitar player, this guitar and its built-in effects are super cool and it has been encouraging me to play acoustic more often recently! Hope you are all having a great Friday :)
Well, so much for hating on those old movies where the guy pulls out a guitar in the middle of the jungle and somehow magically has a full chorus and concert hall reverb all coming out of that tiny hole! Turns out it wasn't Hollywood BS- it was forward thinking! xDD Also, it's fantastic to see your immersion whenever you play. It's inspiring. Ok gotta go at least TOUCH my guitar....
Your review was fantastic! I just HyVibe'd a non Lagg guitar and I am looking forward to using the looper feature to improve my own playing experience. Thanks for sharing! Have a great day! :)
Rachelf (and everyone else): I have to say I was skeptical when I first started watching this video. I have a Fender Acoustic amp (around $900) which has many of the same effects which I use on my Taylor guitars ($2,000+). Now that I have watched this video all the way through, I WISH this guitar had been available years ago before I spent all that money. First, the Lâg HyVibe THV10DCE is $1,099. That seems like a high price, but is actually a bargain for an all-wood acoustic guitar. The effects this guitar can produce are amazing! Even though I have 15 guitars (you can never have enough), I am giving real serious consideration to buying this one. If you are just starting out and considering an acoustic, I would recommend you spend the money and get something like this. And, NO, I do not work for the company. I have been watching Rachelf for over 4 years, and she has never steered me wrong. Cheers!
@@lovelessgarden60 Thanks for the comments, and I think we all know that Rachelf would never recommend anything that was not fantastic. I am glad you are a Rachelf fan--she is just the greatest! Have fun playing! Cheers.
Damn I didn't know hyvibe guitars would sound so cool I like how it has many effects that changes the sound I might as well buy one soon thanks rachelf 😊
Hi. I’m an Emerald Guitar owner. If those guys are selling their products with a built in HyVibe system, then it has to be a top quality product. Maybe I’ll find a video review of you taking an Emerald Guitar/Ireland, with this system, for a test run some day. You’re such a sweetheart btw. Thanks.
That's nuts! I love it. Would love to see a side by side between this guitar and another acoustic rocking the ToneWood Amp. 🔥🎸 And your Solo was absolutely amazing! You definitely should tab that out for us! 😎🤘🏾
Very cool! I love that it's making playing acoustic more interesting for you. It really helps with motivation to change things up every once in a while. You should get the action lowered. Only classical guitars with gut or nylon strings need a higher action because the strings need more room to vibrate. This guitar would be perfect for busking. 😊
Definitely would be awesome for busking! I'm planning to lower the action when I get the chance, might bring it into a shop as I haven't done it myself on an acoustic before :)
Old and busted: playing your guitar by the campfire. New hotness: playing your guitar by the campfire while your drunk friends dial up random effects on your phone. :)
There's a whole lot of functionality in that guitar. The looper in particular would be great for anyone wanting to jam over jazz standards, for instance.
Ok, cool features galore, yadda, yadda.......... It totally takes a rachelf to come up with the idea of plugging the electric into the input of this guitar; no one else on the planet in all of human history is going to think to do that!! Kudos to you!!
Hey Rachel, i watch a lot of your videos, good job, love you❤️. I would like to suggest that your learn a Avanged Sevenfold song , and make a video how you learn it. 🥰
I got one and its amazing - sounds best with the Martin silk core strings - they bend better sound better and trust me you wont regret it as they are easier on your hands and this is important because its so much fun you wont be putting it down
Hey Rachel I love your vids and I know this isn’t really relevant to the video but I recommend that you learn the Eddie van halen beat it solo it would be really cool as a video but it’s just a suggestion keep rocking 🤟🏼🎸
I'm not an acoustic guitar guy at all but I do like this... In all honesty you should be able to play without effects but I'm serious old school on guitar playing but times they are a chaging man...
I've wanted one of these since I first found them online last year. I'm fed up of playing by myself busking and it will help me sing better with the aid of a looper. If I can scrape up the funds then I'm going to get the 20 model. Il have to wait another life to be able to afford a Gibson Les Paul tribute so fk my life
It has been holding tuning very well for me! Neck size feels good as well, much larger than I'm used to with my Ibanez electrics of course, but feels more comfortable than other acoustics I've tried so far.
@@RachelfGuitar thanks, that was my concern, I don’t have big hands and I struggle with acoustic guitar necks as a result, I have a Washburn electric acoustic which I have had for years, was thinking about trading in at some point but want something special, these guitars look good, may have to find a store that has them so I can try before I buy. Thanks again
For sure! The battery should last for around 10 hours too though, so it's good for multiple practice sessions :). You can also play with it plugged in if you do run out.
@@RachelfGuitar 10 hours is very impressive. I could imagine you can load up music onto the 8gb so you can play along with your favourite music wherever and whenever you wanted. Like a camping trip or something like that. It's got to be far lighter than an electric guitar and a mobile amp.
@@TheRatlord74 I don't think you can actually load whatever you want onto the guitar currently as I don't think there's a way to play back things other than through the Bluetooth speaker mode (though it's possible it could be added in a software update). The 8gb right now is mostly for storing loops you record and pulling them off onto your computer for later reference. But you could download stuff onto your phone before traveling and then connect to the guitar and play back stuff offline that way :)
@@RachelfGuitar to be honest that makes a bit more sense than my idea. It certainly is a well thought out instrument. You can see that you liked playing it.
I've been playing for over 50 years now and I guess I'm very much old school. So when is an acoustic no longer acoustic? Time and technology march on. Interesting concept for sure, just not my thing.
Belli gli effetti nella chitarra, ma mi chiedo a quanto possono servire nella realtà, non so ma li trovo noiosi. Perché Lag non produce una chitarra acustica tutta in massello invece che infilare nella buca tutta quella roba??

Great demo Rachel! Playing acoustic every day REALLY benefits one's electric playing!
I ckd with Hyvibe and they confirmed you can plug a mic into the 1/4" input and sing through it as well.
This is the coolest thing ever! Thanks for showing it to us! 🤯
