    Well done Sherlock! That can't have been cheap for the customer though.
    Those towel rails don't give off much heat anyway, especially when covered in towels!

    Once had a bending spring in a 22 mm bend , worked fine for the first few years, once it had corroded up system was fubar

    My money is on the raw plug being with the connector in tool box, either way they should not have left without radiator getting hot.

    You say that the system should be flushed before installing a new boiler. What if you have a single pipe system, so it's impossible to flush the rads?

      They are a problem. You cant flush. Best to start again, new system

      @@MarkBallardLTDHeatingEngineer - If stuck down floor coverings mean you can't take up floors and have to stick with a one pipe system, would it be best to use a low loss header or just rely on a mag filter to protect the new boiler?

    It’s lucky the plug was trapped in the plastic elbow joint.

    I bet he had the plugs in his pockets, I've seen 10mm pipe sleeves trapped in a pump before 😂

    so why wasn't the bathroom fitter called back to fix this / or why wasn't it checked properly once installed - poor form by the homeowner / bathroom fitter IMO.
