I was in the ACP program in Florida because of the worries for me and my children.Sadly not every person exercises these very stringent programs. 11 yrs of my and my 3 children's life in hiding.no taxes,social security numbers shut down, no credit cards ,working under the table, leases from individuals understanding your in hiding,jobs paid under the table.its not fair they need to do more for people in hiding with their children.I wasn't allowed state aid.i had to shut down all social media,my name legally changed,his child support recovery shut down so no child support.11 yrs this way with 3 kids.We need to find a better way so people won't have to agree to what I had to as to survive a violent offender out of jail.He had way more rights and benefits and a life then we did.End of the day I'm blessed were alive kids are awesome all grown ,great careers etc very successful me I clean hotel rooms on the beach.hard labor.not able to get employees to understand why my Ss# was shut down 11 yrs.i could go on but yea AS A WHOLE SOCIETY AND COURTS CAN DO BETTER

I would yell at the top of my lungs.. "I HAVE MY RIGHTS" she would come into my room, get up close in my face, and tell me in a calm, controlled and authoritative voice "You lost your rights when you take what isn't yours' And she meant it Our society doesn't work like that. There will never be a 100% solution to cases like these as long as the human condition remains in the fallen state that it is in. But there are two things that would drastically reduce the number of these cases. 1. There needs to be enough caring on the part of the families of these types of young women, to risk angering and alienating them to discourage them from involving themselves with the type of men that perpetrate these crimes. Outcomes like this are not a surprise, family members of other victims come forward after the fact saying that they saw signs or they suspected problems but they refused to speak up out of fear, but like the old saying, "If you see something say something". It may be your friend or family member you save. 2. When the perpetrators of these crimes are caught and convicted, there needs to be sure and swift justice. No indefinite incarceration, but a life forfeited for the life taken. There are enough special circumstances to these crimes to answer any question about the level of the offense committed. And a real fear of our penal system is the only deterrent to this type of crime. Condolences to the family of this woman.

I was in a very violent relationship, unwillingly. I hated him but he threatened to kill my family. He told me nobody can have you but me. Walk away? That was impossible. How did I eventually get away? He was arrested for serial rape. He would have eventually killed me if that hadn’t happened. So for me to escape four women (one was a 12-year-old child) had to have their lives forever altered. You can’t just walk away. THAT is when you will be killed.

I was in a very violent relationship, unwillingly. I hated him but he threatened to kill my family. He told me nobody can have you but me. Walk away? That was impossible. How did I eventually get away? He was arrested for serial rape. He would have eventually killed me if that hadn’t happened. So for me to escape four women (one was a 12-year-old child) had to have their lives forever altered. You can’t just walk away. THAT is when you will be killed.

@@mamapoch1915 no you can walk away, just like you walked into it at the start you see red flags you leave if you're lucky enough to be in the US you can grab a gun and shoot them if it's really that bad or how about you record a conversation with them where they prove they are a threat to you or your family for court. There is always a way if you have the courage for it select your partners better perhaps don't "settle" for bad men or if you do, don't demand sympathy. Also you allowed 3 other people to be harmed because you didn't take proper action like slitting his throat in his sleep.

Maybe it gets down to the women rethinking their lifestyles. Many of these single mothers have already made one mistake by having a child with the wrong partner. You would think they would be more cautious the second time around. Unfortunately our society tells people nobody should tell them what to do or how to think. And unfortunately bad things happen and it is sad for her family.

This was her ex so that means he killed her because he couldn’t have her as his girlfriend or control her anymore? As much as women need to watch out, men need to understand that their partners are not their properties!

To any women/ men that are going through emotional, verbal,physical abuse. You’re strong. Let the love for your children and yourself guide you out of the toxicity. Don’t make excuses for them. Leave and don’t let them know where you’re going (if possible) not everyone has money for self defensive classes but they do have free lessons here on yt. Get a gun,taser, knife. Tell your family/friends what’s going on. Report them to the police. I know we can’t predict what anyone will do. There’s not enough vetting in the world for that. I’m just tired of these stories!
May the Lord comfort this family & loved ones. May they all find peace through such an awful tragedy in knowing their beautiful angel has gone to glory. We never know why these things happen, but the Lord certainly has a plan.
