Oops, I did a long ramble again. If it's not clear from the examples given, the specific genre of 13th Age is "heroic fantasy": big damn heroes fighting big damn monsters.
Almost no-one mentions MythCraft! - IMO & in comparison/ contrast - it is the TTRPG in development that scratches most of my TTRPG ITCHES! That said, for 8 yrs now, (house-ruled) 13th Age is my epic-fantasy ttrpg go-to.
Those shelves look great with the minis! Makes me want to start painting again. Good review, hadn't heard of 13th Age before but will now check it out.
Very interesting system. I find myself always swinging back and forth on if i like granularity or not. It wouldn't be something i would buy, Lord. i have enough rpgs i dont run. But would definitely play. Great detailed review 👌 dont sweat the tech issues people expect hbo productions on RUclips. Its a platform for ametures,(and i mean that with respect) nothing more
