@@elgdivisionyt1928 gotta use your fish finder if you have one, we had to look for them and seemed like they were around 10-100ft. If you dont have a fish finder you might have to do the old fashion way scout out a area you think its good drop some cutbaits if nothing within 5-15min move onto the next area or try following the boat crowd lol if you see more than 5 boats huddle up in a area its mostly likely there fishing for stripers too. Once you find them its pretty much ever cast is a hook up good luck...
We used to catch 20lb- 25lb stripers back in the day. Big swimbaits was the bait of choice.
I remember seeing constant boils back in those days and not knowing what it was lol I missed out on it

This is illegal the regulations are 28-32 and you can keep 1 per person and if you have a bonus tag you can keep one more from 24-28
