Hi, I do a lot of the calculations and stuff for discord community and we did a lot of number crunching when Phantom was announced. Just to comment on your run down on the new Phantom sets, the only two sets that are truly relevant are Phantom Armor and Phantom Barrier. The rest of the Phantom sets are kinda useless, or not worth the tuning binaries. Regarding your comment on purchasing the 3 Quantum coords crystals daily, it is actually pretty worthwhile assuming you use the currency to purchase the gear enhancement modules. The math works out that you save ~3623 eternium that would otherwise have been spent on farming the equivalent amount of EXP from the Gear EXP Resource Challenge if you clear Shadow Palace 5, ~3255 eternium for Shadow Palace 4, etc. etc. plus some amount of credits but that's pennies on the dollar. The tl;dr is Phantom Armor/ Barrier are decent transitional sets for newer players before they get their Gordias pieces, but after that it's extremely niche situational gear for when you need a FULL tank set in PVE AND it has to be anti-role. Currently, there's only one stage (a DC boss) that actually wants this to deal with flier enemies. - Phantom movements have the same net cat1 RES (the sum of your DMG RES% from the two substats) as a T7 Gordias piece, so it's a decent starting point. The issue is most of it is anti-role, not anti-type or ranged/ melee. It is extremely hard to get good uptime on anti-role DMG RES, especially in PVP, so the end result is it's worse than the alternatives. - If you were to plug the numbers into an effective HP calculator and assumed 100% uptime on your RES lines, Phantom Armor tank set variants would perform the best because from a net cat1 RES standpoint it's literally just Gordias + 10% DEF. However, because there's an 80% upper limit on your cat1 RES, the end result is you're going to hit the limit (in PVE, but you wouldn't really use this gear in PVP) long before the 10% DEF becomes relevant. - Barrier enhancement as a stat is kind of a meme because it was introduced on Jungle gear (and Welsh crown but ignore that) and Jungle gear is kinda bad. That said, barrier enhancement isn't part of the cat1 RES cap so if you were to min-max your tankiness for a particular PVE stage it would be the next best alternative. - You can't get Anti-Ground DMG RES on your hands, so that basically kills the viability of the 4-pc sets from the get-go. Technically, it wouldn't matter because of the cat1 RES cap but then you'd have to ask yourself why you're using tuning binaries on a piece of gear that gets replaced within like a week. - Most importantly you can't T7 Shadow palace gear for the substat increase, and this is kinda important because RES gets more value the more RES you stack, and from a PVP context if you can't at least match the RES on your opponent (this is generally pretty easy because Counterside substats are set up in such a way that you're net cat1 RES is almost always identical regardless the gear, assuming you did it right), you're going to be heavily disadvantaged.
Yeah you did great job and I think I mostly said the same through out video At the end it’s very decent gear to start you up with, and way to have some decent set finished without using set binary and it meet that goal by farming these gears
Just want to share my experience here. For spectral, obviously keep all the SSR Blaze or Bullet. SR ones, unless you get anti-ground dmg (or ground res on armor pieces), trash it. Other set options, maybe keep 1 or 2 sets of Spirit (I only use anti-striker Spirit on Rita tbh, but if you lack cdr Maze, it's not that bad) and 1 Smite for soldier (on Veronica or temp gear on Warden). For phantom gear, pretty much keep the Armor (hp+def) sets. On the long term, I would say only keep the accessories but if you don't have Inhibitor weapons/armors yet(could be Maze armors as well) then phantom weapons/armors are not half bad.
I have guide for t7 gears that I made in the past, which still is exactly the same as today Check those out and if that still doesn’t answer the questions you have that I will make new one coming in next week or so
i will remake raid gear videos but honestly those videos still holds up no problem so we will just talk about maze and gordias gears next then move onto relic gears as last one
i will have to see whats wrong with your build but if you clear up to that level, means you understand the game enough so most likely you are just missing out some characters that could cheat the stages pretty easily new ohio is one ship that cheats the stage very easily if you are failing the stage because enemy counter is using the skill to blow you up instantly ship will skill seal and reduce cd as well so you will have more time to actually
ty for your guides, I'm so happy that you covered this, Counterside is the most underrated game out there
I know but I will always be there for people who still enjoys the game haha
Great gear guide! I'm slowly transistioning away from spectral to raid gear so I'm going back to this to remind me what to keep!

@@inFAMOUSJakey oh tks
Does this mean there’s going to be a part 3 for end game gears?
i will remake raid gear videos but honestly those videos still holds up no problem so we will just talk about maze and gordias gears next then move onto relic gears as last one
thanks!
any recording on how you cleared shadow palace 5 on a new account? currently can't get past the 2nd stage since it's hard to kill lsy without snipers
i will have to see whats wrong with your build

How does phantom gear compare to inmagorgor? coz the 10% hp + 10% def sounds cooler than just 10% hp we get on inmagorgor
It won’t replace your existing inhibitor or gordias gears at the end but serve its purpose and mid range defensive gear very well
I love just say youtube it on discord so i font have to explain 😊
is that even english?
