Even though you guys are not apart of the divine nine, its nice to see other sororites beside the famous 4 (aka dst sghro zeta) out there doing their thing.. no need for shade.. you guys are on the come up.. but don't be suprised if you get alot of side eyes .. being new means you must earn your keep.. not saying you have something to prove but your not an original nine and judging by the comments I read I doubt thats your agenda to be accepted into the divine nine anyways.. being multicultural is cool and I enjoyed watching the performance and the diversity just practice practice practice you want your moves to be tight and on point (thats just advice) !

I know this is an old comment but I’m just curious about how you feel about non D9 organizations stepping and strolling when they’re from HBCUs. I’m talking about organizations like TBS and KKPsi. I went to a PWI and those organizations were basically clubs that happened to have Greek letters, you didn’t even technically have to be in band to join them. Most members were white and they absolutely did not step or stroll.
They did good, and I most definitely give them credit for going out there

Totally tasteless in my opinion. D9 or not, too much shaking and poppin taking away from the moment's essence. The strolls were sloppy, not in sync at all and there was no soul in it (to me), just robots with deductive body movements. That's about it. Not impressed.
Good on you all for your efforts to make a good show and continue to do good works with and for your organization.

There is African culture rooted in Latino culture. Black Americans have ancestors from Africa as do many Latinos. So although Latinos and Black Americans have differences in culture, there is many similarities as well.

+Brianna Odom We belong to the FIRM FAM made of Sigmas, Zetas, Betas and us (Gammas)...we are multicultural Latina based, but our roots come from historically black fraternities and sororities...so that's why we probate/step/stroll. To get to the point, no we are not trying to copy black greeks or black culture, we are embracing it! It was given to us. So how about you do some research next time you decide to comment on something you obviously know nothing about. Outside of the hispanic/black greek community most people don't know WE (as in black and hispanic greeks) exist and white greeks sure don't give a rats ass about us, so we need to support each other.
