Hi Thanks for the Video. Very educational. I have a Lenovo y50-70 4K display model 54921871. Three days ago it froze and would not boot. A day later it booted and after checking a few things I shut it down - thinking it would help. Thought it would boot again, but it does not boot. I have been trying for 2-3 days now in vain. All kinds of key sequences while powering on. I am assuming Bios is corrupted, as it does not display Lenovo screen, and does not boot from usb sys drive. I read about procedures for reflashing BIOS using the laptop itself, without the tools you are using. I am not sure if reflashing is possible if Bios is corrupted. Appreciate your wisdom and tips. Sri. Also does my laptop have another copy of Bios that I can switch to? by some toggle switch? Sorry for the long note.

Someone Please Help Me!! 😭😭😭😭 I was playing Valorant on my Asus ROG Zephyrs GA502 , suddenly it started BIOS update , then I left the room(cause the update was taking time) , then I came back after 15 minutes , but the screen was black (the screen was not black while the update) , then I left my laptop as it is for another 15-20 minutes , but still the screen was black , then I 'Force Power Off' the laptop (by holding Power Button) and then tried to turn it on again , I pressed the power button , the keyboard backlight turned on , fans turned on , but nothing on screen , not even the Asus logo that appears whenever I start the laptop, the screen was totally black , I waited for another 10min. , Still black screen , from then , whenever I start the laptop, the screen is still black. (I forgot to mention that Charging Cable was connected while the BIOS update) (Means laptop was charging while this whole thing happened) So someone please help me with this issue. I AM having a heart attack since the day it happened ( its been over a week now 😭)
Remove the bios battery its 2032 inside, on mother board and also main battery, keep for 20 mins and then put again, see if it helps otherwise you have to remove bios IC and program it with whom doing this job

I haven't update BIOS of my Dell XPS 15 (L502x 2011 model. I suddenly got a blue screen error during normal work and after restart the laptop, it's Dell logo is not appearing and screen is completely black but fan, leds & keyboard backlight working. Can BIOS corrupt during windows update or just automatically or due to some electricity fluctuation?
May be corrupted, if you r getting first screen of bios then it hangs, try removing bios battery and main battery resetting the bios, if dosen't work then needs bios programming

Laptop Display is working, i have done Dell Display test by pressing "D-key + power button" and multiple colors are showing but after reboot same black screen issue is happening. During repeatedly trying to boot the laptop, 2 times Dell boot logo was randomly appeared out of 50 trys. And an error code was showed on boot " 00c08270: Real time clock error - check date and time setting" along with continuous beep sound. I pressed F2 to boot in bios and changed date & time settings and then I pressed F1 to boot in windows. Windows was trying to load but a blue screen error occurred " Stop code: DRVER POWER STATE FAIURE" . I thought that it is CMOS batter issue so next day I changed the CMOS battery and installed a new one. I also removed the RAM, Keyboard, HardDisk and cleaned their connectors with soft brush & cloth. In my case, after BIOS update, laptop didn't restart. It just having charging light on hours (even when it's unplugged) and nothing else. I tried to long press power button but nothing happened. Just charging light on and black screened cold laptop. Any suggestions how to mend this problem?
What was the reason you updated bios? Did you programmed correct model bin file? Else you may try downloading or copying ftom another working laptop bin file.

Hi thanks for this video,. I have same problem on e41-15 , but when i heat the processor with hair dryer it turns on normal..... But today morning it was same thing but not turning on by heating it... So i replaced the bios ic from another e41 15 spare motherboard which were ded... Still the same fan runs & no display...i have ordered the programmer.. will it be the same issue or different plz reply asap.

First try to bios reflashing, if not sucess check somewhere voltages drop if all ok try procesdor reflowing

When bios corrupted, no option from usb disk, you have to remove IC and program on programer

My laptop just automatically shut down after few minutes of boot , and the fan runs at max speed for about a minute.
Can u guess where is the fault?
Is your processor is heating more than usual, then open and clean fan for dust deposits and put new heat sink compound to the processor.

@@Sidg2 just remove the hard disk from laptop and try to boot, if boots fine may be the hard disk problem

Once update is failed then only option is to desolder BIOS IC and program it on programmer.

In my laptop asus fx 505dv while bios update system get off and only keyboard light is on and black screen are there .help pls
Remove the bios IC and program it on programmer by downloading bios bin file of your laptop model ... Thats the solution

Why you reset bios? Reinstall window again, reseting bios will not solve drivers problem and Your battery may be weak,
