Imagine hearing that on radio, no Shazam no nothing, fall in love with this song from the first note and not knowing the name for months to be able to find it.
i was there Gandalf, i was there 2000 years ago
lol.
You’d have to call in and say “Yes, hello, I’d like you to play that song again.” They’d most likely wonder to themselves which song, ask “which one man” and then you say “The one that goes Bee boo boo bop boo boo bop.” pray to god that they don’t correct you and start an argument over which song it was.
Have been there to 😭
I didn't know for more than a decade, had it on my VHS and lost the VHS. I found it on youtube by explaining how it goes with words
Best bassline ever
i come from spitting out the demons & i has read the same
Dont get hate a chance jameriqui is dope if your talking bass. Yes i spelt it wrong
True work of genius. Easily gets stuck in my head in the most glorious way!
Voyager "father" as i can say
Can't get enough of them beautiful 90's graphics :-)
Extremely Underrated.
1:26 how i feel about this song
😄👍
1:32 the dancing animation is sooo adorable!
This is what every dream in my life has been like. No nightmares, no sex, no prophecies, I'm just running around the funk factory in a poorly rendered outfit.
Meet DMT. seems to be your realm
Good deal!
...amazing tune of daft punk's musical history
In the nicest way possible, it reminds me of bowling alley screens, or lazer tag
Lyrics:
[Verse]
If you hear any noise
It's just me and the boys
Hit me
You gotta the band
Daft Punk Songs a
The last line is you gotta hit the bag
me and the boys makin some noise
It sounds like “it’s just me and your mom” and “you gotta get to bed” xddd
Everybody in da floor
COMES DANCE NOW!!!!
I've finally found my oldschool funkadelic music clip :O I love and missed it so Inconceivably :'O
almost 20 (now i'm 30) years searching for this song and finally i found it!!! i have tears in my eyes bro :'''') i remember the song but not the video at all
same here
They played this a lot on MTV on the Weekend back in the 90s
Idem comment c'etait frustrant!!! Et enfin trouvé!!!
Et pareil ici aussi.
J’avais bien l'image en tête mais avec Cassius - Feiilng for you en bande son. C'était déroutant.
Lol c'était pareil pour moi !
Holy shit I just found out that this song had a video
Same
Man, I was looking for this video since 1998
It's a weird one. I forgot it had a video, like 3 or 4 times. Lol
Same
lol i need to learn their dance
This has got to be in my top 5 songs of all time!!!! The mixture of music is like my ears have candy - LOVE
I’m getting some serious TRON vibes here!
THIS IS SOOO UNDERRATED
All my youth. What a souvenir ^^
same ^^
Simply spectacular !
from the realisator of Tron ...
realisator lmaooooo
90's 4 ever !!!
Good old times of house music. Remember the time when I was dancing in clubs to those pumping tracks
got this belter on vinyl!
The first time I heard this was at a friends house with a huge sound system (4 + 4 18" woofers) wow that was a space trip :-D
Daft Punk video with less than 1M views???
the beginning of the song and the video seems to be influenced by kraftwerk's music non stop
CosmoCortney Yeah just that I think this song and video were before that.
@Diurno, kraftwerk's 'music non stop' and video came out in the 80s, this is, i believe, made in 1999
CosmoCortney ll
Mothership Connection is from 1975
This remix though, as you said, is from 99
love it!
thanks for HD!
0:46 it reminds me of derezzed
fuck yeah man! that's true
Good mix, fair enough, but barely a flicker on the radar next to the original band recording - for those who know what I'm talking about ;)
+sex6cult9revolution that was probably why daft punk remixed such an obscure song. to bring attention to them.
REVENGE obscure this was well known back on the day
What a dumb comment. Nobody is comparing this to the original. This is a remix of a remix. And even if Parliament isn't a household name (sadly), their version is a lot more well known. You don't seem to understand the concept of remixes.
When this tune came out in late 90s it was a monster and was loved by many :) I remember finding a copy on vinyl (promo) at a record shop in Bath UK and being beside myself as it was really hard to come by due to its popularity at the time
@@SebiSthlm If you can say I don't understand remixes, I can just as easily (if not more so), say that you don't understand the funk. If you understand much about the funk, you know that "faking the funk" is like the ultimate faux-pas. Bootsy talks about it in "The Pinocchio Theory" and Pedro Bell (their writer and artist) talks about it endlessly in many of the Chronicles of Funkadelia (the liner notes to the albums). The theme of stealing the funk back from the disco zombies repeats itself endlessly. And the processed sound of this track reps that very vibe George was trying to squash.
Also, if you're a good remix artist (or sampler), you touch upon the most relevant/vital reference points from the original. Anyone who truly knows the funk knows that the most important element of the Mothership Connection song was not Bootsy or George or the refrain or anything that's on display here but Glenn Goins, their fantastic tenor who would call down the mothership (and sadly died at only 24). On the contrary, Dr Dre got that RIGHT in his song "Let Me Ride." It's a very subtle use of the guy's voice but it captures the essence of what was really special about the song, something both historic and aesthetically on point.
I mean, I suppose you can use any element of a song if it gives rise to a new thing that's worthwhile - but to reference something as iconic as Mothership Connection-era Parliament, and barely graze the surface of it, looks more than a tad amateurish.
Presque 10ans que je cherchais cette musique...
Best thing ever since 1998
great robotic electronic
Perfect version..
Thank you so much for your work..
Please.. keep going..
13 000 vues pour Mothership, 70 000 000 pour Get Lucky : Cherchez l’erreur ^^
Tf1 est passé par la mdr...
Blood Funk pourquoi ?
you can get out at 1.00. The intro is sufficient on its own
Agreed the intro is the best part. I at least wish it showed up again later in the track.
Yes,
Finally found this😲😲

gives the same vibes as a strike animation at a bowling alley lol
nooooooooooooo this music video predicted squid game
This "Black Mirror" episode is weird...
Almost busted my ass in the shower dancing to this lmaoo🔥🔥🔥🔥
MERCI:)!

Parliament - Mothership Connection
Me when i hear this song 1:26
0:34 OMG
This is literally the same plot from interstella 5555
I dont get the ending??
He passed the tests to get to the room at the end, his prize was he was made immortal, but it was a trick by some greater being and actually he is doomed to spend his days in that room being crushed to death only to reanimate again and again
That's my take on it anyway lol
@@rallyeluke Vinyl maker machine using the protagonist .
@@pumpkin91ful I had not thought of that! It makes sense that my 12" has a picture of his face on it lol

**MESSAGE AIMED AT THOSE WHO MAKE TUTORIALS ON ELECTRONIC PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES AND GET LOST ON TRACKS WITHOUT ANY SUBSTANCE.**
If you have the guts, make one about this remix where Daft Punk have rewritten the house genre's features, and we lovers of the style will thank you.
What I perceive is that the bass line is just one of the elements that made the difference.
Considering this is the original version by Scott Groove
[ruclips.net/video/omVHewPQLQM/видео.htmlfeature=shared](ruclips.net/video/omVHewPQLQM/видео.htmlfeature=shared)
and this is the live performance by Funkadelic from which it sampled
[ruclips.net/video/Op5vYBVRsNM/видео.htmlfeature=shared](ruclips.net/video/Op5vYBVRsNM/видео.htmlfeature=shared)
In their remix, Daft Punk did a job of filtering, feedback, and resonance that someone with high skills should explain (techniques later taken to the extreme by various artists like SebastiAn, Justice), in addition to buried vocals in the mix and cut kick drums
that do the rest.
What. The fuck. Is this.
it's when you hit the band
The animation hasn't held up very well. the 3D looks really dated
that’s what makes it great
@@someone-mq9bw heck yeah
the cgi is pure soul.
