Cor blimey… demolition derby! Some splendid wrecks. My favourite was the classic McLaren clearing two safety barriers. The worst was seeing a Brawn livery ruined by netcode… like watching one of my many disasters! Impeccably sensible driving from you, as always, to get a very well deserved finish.
Haha can't beat a few flips and barrier smashes! Got a bit of luck to not get collected in any of it but still some great racing to be had at Interlagos in lower powered formula cars - very enjoyable!
When I first discovered your channel a couple of years ago one of the first ever races I watched was of the F3 @ Interlagos. Felt really nostalgic to watch a single seater La Broca car racing in São Paulo again! Fantastic race as always, Ben.
Ah you're a gent Stefan, cheers! I was just thinking about making a return to the full blooded Super Formula - I'm a bit scared to try to re-learn managing all that torque!! 😂
Two moves at the end, so more than marginal, according to the sporting code. On the previous time he was weaving, you were further away, and he made one move, then back onto the line, which is fine, but not so on the white flag lap. That last bit would constitute blocking imo.
@@Teqqlesdoessimracing yeah I don’t know the rules re breaking the tow versus blocking in the braking zone, but it felt on the edge in the cockpit. Still - a good side by side battle, and I could have had him at T1 with a bit better race craft!
Great job moving up the field and keeping it clean buddy! The weaving can be a pain to deal with. Happens in Indy Oval all the time. The strategy worked for him though so I guess that's why people do it.
@@Ron_Lang yeah it definitely put a big seed of doubt in my mind which I guess is the point. Not something I’d do but it is what it is and he did race cleanly with Ruben and myself so it’s all good in the end.

Great content as always! Your commentary style is by far my favorite.
@@Hysteria1844 thank you buddy - appreciate it!
Nice video(s) mate, fun to watch! Don't necessarily enjoyed the "I don't want to end up like Ruben" ;) but that was a nice race.
@@JurjenrubenNl ah great you found the video buddy! Very unfortunate after you’d managed to pass Lee! Great to race with you mate!
@@Ben_LaBrocalikewise buddy, see you on track.
This is awesome! I’ll see y’all at interlagos this weekend!

I remember that race!! It was a banger too - there's something about Interlagos and junior formula cars that just works.... if you can survive!
Great race, great commentary, great production…cheers Ben! Come to Super Formula Open some time!

@ yeah…it might take a few laps, but it’s so awesome 😀 Let me know if you need a setup!

Wasn't he doing the opposite of blocking though? Weaving out of the way to break the draft?

Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it Curtis buddy!
Nice race - and nice survival skills!
@@DC_F1 cheers DC - hope you’re good buddy. Going to try to make it to one of your community events this year - schedule looks ace!
@Ben_LaBroca lovely stuff, I'll save a place on pole position for you 😉

Not a fan of that weaving. So dangerous.
