I have been married now 31yrs and living in America since 1993, after my mom, sister and I left Nigeria, after witnessing a horrific event right there in our neighborhood. I am American born, Nigerian nutured and miss home a lot. I have not visited since leaving, but maybe in the future. Family members back home have tried to bring my family and I back to visit, but I have kept an eye on conditions back home, and very unhappy at how far it has deteriorated.
