Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth educational videos of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I'm not sure why so many people don't like this car, I think it's really cool! I love all the little easter eggs and throwbacks. Great video as always Kyle, the comparison with the Kia Soul was great too! I think I'd pick the Jeep for the retro aspects. It's clear that Jeep has a hit on their hands, I hear these are really flying off dealer lots. Keep up the great work!

I just spent 5 days in one of these in Death Valley. Driving on the highway to the park revealed a tall vehicle with a relativity narrow track that didn't encourage anything over moderate corning speeds. The 2.4 engine seemed to designed with NVH (noise, vibration & harshness) to encourage people to opt for the V-6 on Jeep's larger offerings. The seats are not comfortable on a long trip and NEED a lumbar adjustment like the Latitude model has. The automatic transmission occasionally left us flat footed for long moments after pressing on the gas pedal. However, on the Jeep trails and dirt roads the little guy earned it's nick name: MIGHTY MOUSE! Its off-road capabilities at a low price are the reasons to purchase one of these. Rather then compare it to a Kia, think of it as a cheaper and more comfortable alternative to a Wrangler for moderate trails.

Hello, we have had our Trail Hawk for a couple of weeks and couldn't be more happy. Very nice ride with a firmness thats not harsh yet very capable off road. Gets more fun as the trans seems to learn your style of driving, yet gives decent MPG. Lots of headroom and comfortable inside. We have the keyless entry and remote start with blind spot indication very nice to have. My wife loves the heated seats and steering wheel too. Also have the premium interior with a 40-20-40 rear seat fold down, which when the center folded down gives the rear passengers a arm rest along with big cup holders. We got the NAV 6.5, 9 speaker sub woofer and when paired with the I6 phone its nice to be able to talk hands free. Its not a Rubicon or a Caddy, but it do'es everything well with no complaints for a lot less money.

We also bought another new Trail Hawk with the same equipment, so I get to daily drive the old one and she drives the new one. I definitely like the cold weather package with remote start heated seats and steering wheel. To be honest we have snow here but I've never used the 4 wheel drive yet, only to see what it can do. People need to except the fact that Jeep is going in an all new direction and wants to be different. Everyone hated the new Cherokee when it came out and now everyone has accepted it and I think it will be the same with this car. And I bet that the new Wrangler is going to look something like this so everyone better get used to it.

Brandon Wiley I still feel salty over the new Cherokee. The old design was just... better. And if you take a look at Land Rover and The Mercedes G-wagen, big and boxy is still most definitely in-style. By the number of Cherokees still on the road(probably the most numerous SUV from the 90s), Jeep should take a hint and realize that the new Cherokee could do well with a facelift.

My fiance is going to buy this and we can get a latitude model for $14-15,000 MSRP. My brother owns a kia soul and hands down the renegade is better because the soul is bland and very boring

  • @zazjudo

To dispel some myths: the car is built by fiat but has the same sturdy feel you would expect in a jeep. It is more jeep than fiat in every respect. The exterior looks silly but it grows on you, I promise. The Dawn of Justice edition is a blacked out limited. Waste of money, buy the limited in black instead.

Great review! I totally agree that the Kia Soul is similar to the Renegade. I had a car accident in my Kia Soul a little over a month ago and the car was total loss. A bull moose ran in front of my Kia Soul and literally threw my car right off the road out in the woods. I realized then I needed something a little more heavier and something with 4 wheel drive but I still wanted the hip Kia Soul look. There was no Trailhawk editions in Newfoundland so I'm having one shipped to me from Ontario and needless to say, my Jeep Renegade Trailhawk can't come soon enough! So excited! Everyone has their own opinion on vehicles but anyone like myself that loves hip boxy little SUVs, the renegade is probably your best bet as far as safety and performance goes! Love love love 💕

***** Yeah, if I were to get a CUV, were to get one, I'd get this. In a different color, the Trailhawk is relatively cheap, under $26,000, even less when you hassle, and is fully equipped. It seems like while, aesthetically and visually looks different, it still has a JEEP heart underneath, so yeah, I actually do like it!

I'm young and I do a lot of traveling and need something to tow behind a large motor home. I have an old Geo Tracker that's served us well, but I'm looking for something a little more comfortable, but still capable. We don't do a lot of off roading, but I certainly want to be able to get out of trouble if I find myself in it. I also have a Grand Cherokee that we leave at home, and I've kind of felt like I wanted a mix of the two cars, and this seems to be pretty close. So far, it seems perfect for what I'm looking for.

The one thing that bothers me about this car is that it's practically a fiat 500x. Fiats are known for their bad quality and the fact that jeep has practically said, "Hey Fiat, build one of your cars, we'll just put the jeep name on it," really worries me. Jeep is known for quality and frankly I'm just not seeing it here. Very simply put, as nice as the car looks, it also looks cheap. Like I feel it would fall apart.

tweack2twek seems that jeep is back to their sources, real off roading vehicle, according to its name "renegade", it's like they want to apologyse to their customer for doing SUV road for too long

Holy easter eggs! I'm going to have to give my 2015 Cherokee another look-over. For how many eggs are on the Renegade, I'm sure I'm missing some on mine.

I sat in one of these at the Autoshow in Toronto a few months back. Loved it. The Interior, the design, the seating position (i'm approx 6'4). Back seat was a little "meh," but good. I'd buy one. Oh, and great video as always.

Are u crazy? There in Brazil are offered 3 versions of renegade - Longitude, Sport and Trailhawk- and for witch one of Them you can choose wether diesel or gasoline. Read more about it, ok?

Joao Pedro Veloso Are you crazy? How about actually read what he said. If you had, you'd see he said "The trail hawk model" is only available with the diesel engine. Not the whole lineup

Honestly I like the idea of the renegade, I don't like however how the car is set up, to me it should either have a diesel or a v6 that isn't based off a fwd car. To me its more like half assing a monument

the renegade is the only one in the new jeep models line-up (aside from the wrangler) that still looks like jeep! The rest look like all the other cars/"suv" out there! Having said that I wish the renegade was a little bigger!

This is a great jeep to be sold in europe and to people who don't want to offroad 24/7... i own a jeep wrangler i don't see anything wrong with jeep entering other markets... This car is very affordable has a great interior and looks good from the outside.. Jeep won't survive if it's only revenue is from wrangler...

Kind of weird how they decided for the My Sky panel to be opaque instead of transparent. I wouldn't be surprised to see transparent aftermarket panels.

Finally someone puts the sequential shifting in the proper direction (pulling down to upshift) and it has to be in a jeep. Lol

If you compare US-spec and Euro-spec models, you will see that the US one only carries reflectors where the Euro one has backup light and rear fog light (in the rear bumper), while the Euro-turn signals in the Xs serve as back up lights in the States, with the brake lights also serving as turn signals. Why go through so much trouble, why not just replace the rear fog light with a backup light für US versions?

I personally like it, sometimes you have to go far to go big, I like it because I'm all out to hiking places, over sand , mud and rocks, one day I will have kids and this is one of the only vehicle that gives you a mommy car plus towing and a 4x4. I have goats and need something to pull them. you can think all you won't about how bad the motor is but it mainly on you is driving. yes there will be bad motors and there will be a lot more good ones. don't hate it because you don't like change, its 2016. everything is changing.

Does jeep compete with the g-class in terms of off-road performance or not? Or is the g- class the ultimate off-road vehicle in the world
