NXWM 4623 Dennis Trident (ZF/€3) BX54XSL

A route that normally sees an allocation of Platinum Enviro 400 MMCs, a particularly mad day of strays onto such routes saw 4623 escape onto the X22. This was formerly known as the 22 before changes some years back, and pioneered the Enviro and Volvo Hybrids with the 23 when introduced in late 2011. Not much more to say as it’s a fairly short route in Birmingham terms, though does have a short 50 section as it leaves Woodgate to access Kitwell, which used to be the terminus when it was the 22. 4623 here is a nice sounding Trident, with a fast driver it got some good kickdown too, though does shift through the gears at quite some pace !

Did you get fellow rare 4333 today ? Was a big surprise but lucky I got it before it was taken off, as had a small RTC with a skip lorry… Only scuffed the panel around the headlights though

No, unfortunately not! I went to look for it just after it had been taken off sadly was waiting at my local stop and to realise it wasn't turning up, bothered me more was that its one I needed to tick off but oh well.
