From what I understand, there are multiple Baals that were worshipped. One particular one was Ba'al Peor, or Belphegor, which you may have heard in animus and stuff.
@@antoinewilliams290 I get the feeling its chaotic energy coming from Baal, dude has had enough of the player base and just wants to make you fear his new stats. Like Great Wilder is like an intimidating track, sure you dont get to see what a demon overlord can do when hearing it. But this is just so crazy and fast, and I imagine a Demon Overlord dancing around you as you literally realize you are utterly powerless and just have to accept you cant match it's tempo.
I wonder if anyone even know who Baal really was... I'll tell you so you don't have to search! He was a false prophet that had many followers... thats all I can really remember. It was odd how I found it though. While playing Disgaea HoD, I got bored after playing a straight 6 hours trying to murder Baal. I flipped open a bible and saw Baal printed and read the verses... it was odd :)
Baal was more than a "false prophet". Baal was a god of a religion that existed before the Abrahamic one. As such, the early Abrahamic religion followers had to demonise the rival gods.
You're describing Baal, a corruption of the Mesopotamian word Ba'al, which just means "Lord" in a generic, prefix-ey sort of way, approximately. This Baal is pronounced as "Bael". The Abrahamic faiths of the time had a habit of iconoclasm, and defacing the names of other deities, the best example being Ba'al Zeboul, whose name was corrupted into Beelzebub, literally meaning Lord of the Flies, as an allusion to poo. Disgaea Baal on the other hand is a mysterious conglomerate of evil will older than the universe, more akin to a force of nature than an actual being, and is pronounced unambiguously as "Ball". It was soundly sealed on Priere's world for unkown reasons until Priere smashed down its door, kicked its teeth in, and then freed this ancient force to prey upon the universe at large by selling its soul into slavery to improve her gear. Oops. Then it attacked Krichevskoy's netherworld, who erected a temporary seal at the cost of his life (sort of?), then you know the story from there.
I dont know how you get to that conclusion. It starts off slow, it builds up and explodes , then ends with a clima, dulling down. Like imagine a Demon Geni coming out of a lamp, yawning a little, and then dancing in front of you showing off its might, only to be sealed back in the lamp before it gains enough power to over come everything that put it in there. Track is literally Baal and its many fights. Dude always tries to come back but playerbase puts him "back in the lamp" I think it works even better though for the item gods. Especially the Majin
This song is a remix of Baal's Theme "Great Wilder"
Fucking Awesome
I've been looking for this track for months!!
Still one of the best Disgaea battle themes

Actually I took that theme as more of Prieres. I mean it was in the la pucelle credits
We need a 10-hour version XD
Love it.
lol this song fits the name "BAAL" like allot
Its very Tribal dance with fire spinning sticks like, excellent.
I like Great Glider SO much more than Great Wilder.
Sounds like it's from the story Aladdin

@@aprinnyonbreak1290 Yeah.... Kind of found that out 5 years later. But hey, you made we want to listen to this song again, so cheers :)
Song sounds like it doesn't know what it's doing. Not bad but definitely not as catchy as other versions.
