- ■ The Chinese GP is making a return to the calendar after a long 5-year absence due to the COVID-19 impact that the country has suffered from, but even though the majority of the F1 world are excited about this feature, there are several underlying issues that pose a massive threat for the teams on the grid! With the new sprint format being introduced in China as well as the 2022-regulated cars hitting up the Chinese tarmac for the first time, could we see unusual issues that would primarily revolve around the tyre degradation of the F1 cars, and more importantly - how can Ferrari capitalize on this matter in a great extent?

Redbull: "we're struggling with tire wear this season"
Also Redbull: Runs 2 medums and 1 hard when other teams struggled running 2 hards 1 medium
They mean they’ve gone from zero wear to a little bit of tire wear 💀
@@c0mplex564 is all that part of the strategy?
The reason is that the hards were shot but were still better than the softs
At least there's no Parc Ferme after the Sprint
I think that was the biggest issue. It messed up Austin, for sure. You effectively have to run 1.5 races on components and not be allowed to change wear items.
1 FP and a Sprint. This could devolve into a shiite show.
Not to mention that challenging Turn 1 at the start 😱
Sprint race sucks and is a waste of all materials!
@@midgeta6864 maybe watch the actual racing for once. Because you clearly haven't so far
@@silashug3925
Sorry buddy I’ve watched them all since 1970 and have been to quite a few even in other countries. Can you say the same?! Who’s got more qualifications to speak on the sport me or you!?
@@midgeta6864 I've been to more races than you have watched races since the Start of 2022 and it shows. You are more qualified to talk about the eighties, im not gonna stop you there. But to say Sprint races are bad, you're just making a fool of yourself there.
I can see some drivers getting at most 5 laps in FP1 and then their very next on track experience being a quali....
lol Ferrari gains !! red bull were a pit stop ahead . could have won with a 1 2 or 3 pit stop strategy last time out !!
So what? This track reminds more of Albert Park..
They so far pretty much drove on high speed corner circuits like Jeddah, Melbourne & Japan, would be interesting to see how the teams perform at other circuits where slower speed corners play a more important role
@@Stockholmsstolthet1891 pretending like max was not going to win Australia without the DNF lol.
@@Danker19991 And you belive Max would have won with either a "1 2 or 3 pit stop strategy" in Albert Park 🤡

This unnecessary sprint race is a big worry for smaller teams like Williams.
so... it's going to be colder than the last time and RB had no visible degradation disadvantage in Japan but this "news" seems to ignore that.
I didn't see RB struggle ar Suzuka at all. Last I checked RB coasted to a victory. I dont feel it will be different in China.
Is this deemed safe for drivers?
T1 might be reminiscent of iRacing public lobbies.
Another crap sprint weekend.
Not watched one race this season so far, i have been watching it for over 45 yrs and not missing it either. It's going to take some changes for me to find anything interesting about it.
I think yuki dive bombing danny on rhe cooldown lap and max dnf has been the most exciting parts so far
Give it a try. Not as bad as you might remember.
So I guess that when it was only Lewis Hamilton wining the world championship that was fine. But because max is wining it's not right because max is not Enlightened enough
And also its not redbulls fault that Mercedes are Incompetent to not know how to Build a f1 car. And redbull even change there concept to help everyone and still on top so maybe they all need to sort them self's out . Plus it's not all just down to newey it's other people at redbull that come together to sort it out
probally redbull does 1 stop more and get those 30 sec and stay over ferrari lol
What about human rights abuses in China, missing woman tennis player for reporting a rape. Looks bad on F1
?? wrf are u talking about💀 It’s like saying "what about the school shootings in america? Looks bad for f1"
how is that? the government isn't murdering people. get your facts straight@@alturkeiabdullah
Human rights is just westerner projections on their own issues
Didn’t the Bible say solve the plank in your own eye before nitpicking the speck in ours
Who cares
What do you care about if not humans racing over mankind right. How about you grow up @@ssssqwerty
2022?
It's good to have some uncertainty but one thing is for sure... Logan will fuck it into the wall. 😂
Funny how Max is saying entertainment is the only reason why there's going to be a sprint in China, but rules being changed for entertainment purposes is fine.
damn💀
Just follow the wrc loool
"Do you think that there is an opportunity for Ferrari to surprise Redbull in a pure racing manner?"
No.
"Do you think they can transfer this momentum to Miami and Imola?"
Still, no.
Do I like posing questions to myself?
Yes!
who got the pole last year in imola and Monza with a much slower car than this year's
-ferrari will get this year
@jet305 Those were the two questions he asked at the end of the video. Followed by, "let us know in the comments." So... thats what I did. I answered those two questions in the comments. You make it sound like I'm just giving myself an interview in the comments section of some dude's video.
REALLY bored with F1 now. Heavy cars. Tiny budgets. Inconsistent and intrusive stewarding decisions. Add possible corruption, then why bother?
Primarily inspired by Mercedes*failed* design...
When you have so much time that you start trying other teams failed designs, while all others are trying to follow yours.
