Strange how the Tories think forelock-tugging and denying systemic racism are great British values we should be proud of. I hope they're in for a shock when it turns out that few voters actually share those views (and many of those who do will vote Reform or UKIP instead). Also, Starmer headed up the *Crown* Prosecution Service and never asked for its name to be changed so this attempted slur is a strange one to say the least.

My Mum lived in Leyburn for 27 years until she passed away in 2015. If there was a brass band there it was a very silent one - perhaps that's what he means by giving to charity silently.
This is a doomed strategy. I'm out canvassing in a marginal Tory seat, and even the soft Conservatives aren't defending Sunak's record. And our entire team hasn't me a single voter who has brought up "stopping the boats". If they can't find a theme that actually resonates with voters they are facing a wipeout.

So why are his immigrant parents great but all the immigrants trying to get here are bad? Is it because his parents were financial migrants, so essentially trying to hold onto as much of what they had while adding as much to it as possible. Oh and if they were really making sacrifices for him, couldn’t they have sent him to either a cheaper school or maybe a state one if it was that much of a struggle.
