I really enjoyed this and ur honesty...dont give up
Thanks for your ongoing support Caron. Hope you are having a great summer in N. Ireland.
You're Welcome. I tried RUclips for 6 months and it was a struggle and didn't grow, so I stopped posting. I want to try again, but I don't have the motivation, it was so disheartening.
If you feel like you need a motivation buddy we can do it together. :).
That would be awesome! I’m trying to work up the nerve to have my face on camera and do a chatting video (probably a quick re-introduction and life update).
@@TheCraftyBookshop That sounds like a great plan.
@@TheCraftyBookshop I just subscribed. :)
I hate that old age anxiety but know sooo many people ended up in nursing home but were partnered and had kids
I do too. I remind myself at least I don't have an expectation that will end up not happening so I can plan ahead.
Most people end up alone if they go to a nursing home, even with kids. I work with the elderly and am basically a paid friend/caregiver. First of all because many adult children don't live in the same city as their parents any more, and it's too expensive to fly to visit often. Secondly, a lot of adult children are going no contact with the parents. So either way, kids or not, it's a good idea to maintain health as long as possible without expecting help from anyone.
I think you are correct. Kids isn't an assurance someone is there when you are older. I like to remind myself that at least I have time to plan since I don't have an expectation kids will be there. Thanks for stopping by the channel.
Are you feeling better
Hi Caron, thanks for checking in. Yes, just super busy at work with end of fiscal year. Hoping to be more active on the channel next week. Hope you are having a good summer so far. :)
