Hi Barry; another excellent tying video, as always. You are a great aid to those of us indoors as a result of COVID 19 or weather. In Canada, we still have lingering snow and some below freezing temps, as well as the stay indoor protocols. So the vice and Feather Bender videos are great antidotes. By the time I leave the house in a few days/weeks, I should be OK for flies for a few years. ;-) ! Also want to say how much I enjoy your book! What a treasure and inspiration. And the dedication to your father on the first page struck a chord for me. Well done.
Barry, Thank you so much for continuing to share your work during these troubling times. Your videos give many of us a huge lift and a pleasant distraction from the reality of this horrible virus. This is how you are contributing to help me and I am sure many others - Thank you.
Barry, thanks again for another excellent video, and for the well wishes. You are correct, we are not in an ideal situation. I have been tying flies for my own use since 1984, and have taught fly tying in adult education programs in years past. With the experience I have had, I must tell you that I always learn something from you. Thank you so much for your excellent style and innovations.
Really like this one and a great alternative to a Klinkhammer. As I get older I really appreciate flies that incorporate a sight indicator and don't sink 😂😂
Lovely to watch and momentarily escape into the outdoors which are out of bounds in NZ. I will tie a few up and wait for the self-isolation to be removed before returning to my Turanga-wai-wai. (Favorite fishing place).Thanks.
Great tie and video as always Barry, you always go the extra mile. Thanks for your concerns and you stay safe and fill your box as well. By the way I never heard of The Twinkle material that you used for the abdomen. Who makes that product. Thanks again and be safe.
@@Thefeatherbender Thanks Barry and I have some black crystal flash I will try. That twinkle you use is it made in England or somewhere in Europe. Thanks in advance. Oh by the way do you have a video on how to use oversize hackle for smaller soft hackle flies. Looking for a method to use larger feathers for this purpose, and I have done it but it takes me too long to get it right, so I thought of you and said Barry would know this. Thanks
Doing ok here Barry though it looks like fishing is off for awhile (darn it! and here is was thinking this was going to be the best summer) This is an amazing fly! I have never seen one like this before.. you say it is one of your go to flies? For fresh or saltwater? Once I can get myself set up I am gonna try this one.. Egads I hate having patients.. take care my friend..
@@Thefeatherbender are they in your book? or maybe the new one coming out? If I ever get out I want to try this one for sure.. When is the new book coming out? next year or this year?
Hey Barry, sorry I haven't watched for awhile. My long term illness keeps my energy levels low and I have not got the will to make a decision. I have been working on my tying room off and on trying to make headway and sleeping a lot! I like this pattern, no doubt I will tie some. I also want to watch your Flashy Bugger video (I think it is called). Hope you are well Barry!
Hi Kerry, No problem, good to know you are looking after yourself. All well here thanks, still self isolating but working from home. You stay in, take care and stay safe.

Thanks Al, the Twinkle is made by a company called Lureflash but you can use regular Krystal flash and many other "flash" materials. Take care.
