Regardless of which party one adheres to, the sunk cost fallacy is a big thing in the U.S. On the Vance comments, I'm an over 50 white male in the U.S., and I pretty much find misogyny from a Republican to be par for the course. But I found Vance's comments musing about redistributing voting power to favor people with children over those without absolutely infuriating. Democrats should definitely focus on those comments and point out what it would mean to retirees and a substantial number of childless young men who otherwise have been in Trump's column.

You can pretend otherwise, if you want, but if you want to maintain that pretense then you should have no objection to, say, undocumented immigrants voting. I come from a small rural town, mostly working class, some people doing well, but there's lot getting it hard, there's the better part of town, and on some streets some family do really good, but the family next door are almost in the beard line, I don't think Vance is making it out to be worse that it was, his mother had a drug addiction, and lots of relationships issues with men, to me that's seems like a really difficult unstable family to grow up in, especially a young boy/man that needs a good father figure, and mother figure, luckily, at least his grandparents stepped in when needed, which would have been even hard if they didn't and won't around.

Harris had no qualifications for any of these appointments & frequently did not even attend the councils’ meetings. Meanwhile, streetwalkers in San Francisco were arrested, prosecuted & sentenced for the acts of either soliciting an act of prostitution or committing an act of prostitution. In other words, young, frightened and often abused women were prosecuted for doing exactly what Harris was doing while Harris received thousands of public dollars and traded sex for money without any fear of retribution whatsoever. Prosecution of prostitutes continued in San Francisco while Brown was its Mayor and in CA while Harris was its AG and still is considered a crime today

Why would interviewers cut people off mid sentence? In what sense are they “running out of time”? Allow people to finish a thought. If the programme is worth listening to then people will listen the extra few minutes or whatever it takes. This style of cutting people off and hurrying people is so off putting
I come from a small rural town, mostly working class, some people doing well, but there's lot getting it hard, there's the better part of town, and on some streets some family do really good, but the family next door are almost in the beard line, I don't think Vance is making it out to be worse that it was, his mother had a drug addiction, and lots of relationships issues with men, to me that's seems like a really difficult unstable family to grow up in, especially a young boy/man that needs a good father figure, and mother figure, luckily, at least his grandparents stepped in when needed, which would have been even hard if they didn't and won't around.

The point is Kamala simply did not EARN it. She got into lucrative government jobs by putting her heels in the air... anyone in the bay area at the time knows this. Reseach it. Harris satisfied Brown’s sexual desires, and in return Brown boosted her career and placed her on various publicly funded councils for which Harris was well paid. Harris had no qualifications for any of these appointments & frequently did not even attend the councils’ meetings.
Meanwhile, streetwalkers in San Francisco were arrested, prosecuted & sentenced for the acts of either soliciting an act of prostitution or committing an act of prostitution. In other words, young, frightened and often abused women were prosecuted for doing exactly what Harris was doing while Harris received thousands of public dollars and traded sex for money without any fear of retribution whatsoever.
Prosecution of prostitutes continued in San Francisco while Brown was its Mayor and in CA while Harris was its AG and still is considered a crime today

I'm not a Trump supporter, but the "Cat lady" statement was brilliant, funny, and true. And Vance's response to the controversy was equally brilliant. He said people forget what sarcasm is. He was using sarcasm to make a factual point about the general dismissal of families with children by government. But people are so ultra sensitive and woke today that they have no humor about anything. Glad he didn't apologize, and shame on Times Radio for joining the humorless woke club.
