so ig this is my birthday cover for this year lol. I wanted to do smth that would be big and also kinda new for me, specifically a song with a lyrics part. good thing most fnf mods have just that lol, so I picked rotten smoothie bc I rly liked it, and I chose to make the cover based on SMG4 bc I used to watch his vids often when I was younger.

Honestly I think Twiddlefinger also fits with this topic with SMG4 milking Mario to absolutely no end essentially making him the comic relief of the show.
The lyrics from 1:59 - 2:25 really hits me hard.
I've been watching SMG4 since around the beginning of 2017. And looking at the current state of it now is really sad. Because, it once was a channel about funny SM64 videos, but later on it loses it's charm and it devolved into nothing but with countless lore and full of unfunny memes.
SMG4 will never be the same again.

Tbf, it could never last. As Luke and Kevin grew up and matured, they wanted to tell more serious stories- and I honestly still get a good chuckle out of the occasional SMG4 video. I just respect that Luke and Kevin are doing what they really want with the series instead of forcing themselves to do something they aren't into anymore.

They basically killed off every Nintendo character of the plot! The only who left is Mario and Luigi, but i feel like they trying to get rid of them too, slowly giving them less screentime.
Who im especially afraid is fo Mario, who was been the icon of this channel.

So even if they can still use the models they still might get sued in the process. The only thing they might be able to do with using Mario is pulling a “sml” and completely change the characters appearance and name so that they are original and won’t get sued.

My theory on why he looks like this: it's been a year ever since smg4 changed his design and now he has a new castle but be wants more so he tries to redesign the others a third time but they end up dying, mario slept in and is looking for the crew but only smg4 is there so he has to fight him, and the reason why boobkins and smg3 weren't crossed out was because they went to smg3s old home in that meme dimension. That is my theory what do you think?

Due to the fact near the end "The cake is a lie" popped up on screen, I'm assuming that Mario was called here to get a "cake" but after seeing smg4 Mario could tell something was wrong in the way they were acting, plus the laugh that they did, resulting in the eyes Mario has, and when they go more 3D its more of a flashback type thing, showing the castle before being "Reworked" and SMG4 shows what they really think, being the insanity of everything.

The lyric hit hard, because not only is true in actually smg4. But actual fictional all together, take fnaf for example compare the first and the ruin DLC.
Take first Mario game all way to the present. The lyric applied to the real world also the many gens. The first lyric "Our world changing" really hit hard of how true it is, even the "Were they all worth creating" is the definition of our past was it worth what we did back then to now?

Is it bad I don't see the issue with Modern SMG4? Like, I understand it's a little more goofy, but the arcs and such are well-written, it feels more cartoony, but that might be a good thing, it's fun, silly and such. And I get that it's deviated far from what it used to be, but that just means it's become its own show. And that's a good thing!

@@AGibblesI can't quiet say when but a little bit after the lawyer Kong arc lots of character got less scream time like Luigi, melony, tari, Bob, boopkins, Mario, 80% of Nintendo characters (Like toad or bowser) and pretty much everyone one else, and really only focused on meggy, smg3 and smg4, Mario of course still shows up but more as a way to keep comedy in there videos
While it may be sad that someone who used to be the main man is less forefronted than before, I can understand it, they likely have to do it because big daddy Nintendo will wipe them off the face of the planet if they make it all about Mario. And in the wise words of the Mandela Catalog. NOTHING IS WORTH THE RISK.

I will say I haven’t seen much of the old smg4 but people and sometimes their humor change’s and it’s different from when it was just the two brothers messing around they have their own company now and who knows if they are writing the stories for smg4 anymore but if you like modern or hate modern that’s your opinion and I can’t change it so just have fun and be happy with whatever you want.
