Your channel is a source of joy , dark as it is 😃 I love classic Supernatural, Paranormal fiction and non - fiction and your narration is in keeping with that great by gone era of entertainment . Thank you .
I'm so saddened that our "WEIRDNESS " is over. I ENJOYED it so much . Thanks guys! Loved this little one as well, so engrossing .I'll miss you not posting so often.. : ( much love. 👍😄😁😸💁
Excellent stuff. I like the idea of these themed readings. I’d toss out the idea of sci-fi horror as a theme someday. I really enjoyed The Immeasurable Horror.
Is it just me who finds the most weird part of the whole thing the ease with which people in this story regard the use of mind-altering drugs to get their way with the opposite sex?
Hey check "demoniac" pronunciation? Ive heard this in many readings. I'm pretty sure that's a long "i" -and not pronounced like "demoneack". Awesome narration though. Try "demon eye ack" demoniac [ dih-moh-nee-ak, dee-muh-nahy-ak ] Re edit Oh apologies..I'm learning both pronunciations are acceptable...I'd only heard (or more likely only read to myself) the latter pronunciation.
Indeed.. But I gotta say you do a better job then most..However the women name being French like Giles, I believe its pronounced Sa- been, not Sa-biine, im guessing if its spelled Sabine?

Clark Ashton Smith is my favorite. His style and content really lends itself to painting or drawing. I look forward to future CAS readings.
There will be more for sure Nunnuv - thanks for listening. Ian
This was an interesting story. Great job. I really like the setting of this story.
Another great one from Clark Ashton Smith.
Thanks, Ian!
Wow! A classic Mandrake story I didn't know existed. I've always wanted to go root hunting with a consecrated trowel, better go make one.

I had to think a minute about the guy's beard growing almost to his eyes.
Be careful what you do with your root! It could come back to haunt you😁😁😁
Love C A Smith! I Dinesen has some great weird tales! I am enjoying these shorter clips too!
Thanks Whitney! Is I. Dinesen the pen name of Karen Blixen? Definitely worth a look! Ian
HorrorBabble yes!
Thanks for another terrific and terrible tale.🐙🔥☠
these are great, thanks for sharing!
Will you ever finish the rest of smiths Averoigne cycle? I’d love all of those in a playlist!
Excellent reading as always, but pretty sure it's Sa-bean.

The whole pronunciation thing is a minefield, Ryan! Particularly with these oldies...

alright, who's the jerk who gave a thumbs-down?
arachnonixon I was wondering the same thing.
There are always some people who don't appreciate art. Don't let it bother you...
I see only 5 of the dwarves have disliked this time ! 😊😂
Maybe some horror fans who enjoy only stories about zombies eating beautiful girls? Gore-lovers?
Maybe its time for 3 weeks of madness.
Lev Protter EXCEPTIONAL THINKING , SIR !!! I AGREE!!!!!
