fuck these keyboard warriors dude....... your a great rider. keep dumping that clutch bro. we all ride differently that's the beautiful thing about motocross. you did a great job showcasing the bikes abilities. keep ripping it up bro
Amazing how much harder you had to rev the stock bike vs. the GYTR mod and how often we heard the rev limiter. I don't remember hearing it at all on the mod bike. Very smooth ride!
Dude you ride like a pro. Don't let the haters tell you anything stupid like they are. "Ever heard of shifting?" Dude. You could ride better than them in first while their ass is in the back stalling constantly. Amazing riding.
I'm about to pull the trigger on a sweet demo model 2015. Was going to go with the TTR230 but want a more aggressive bike. Have always wanted a YZ and my 6'3" 210lb frame is ready to take on the 250f!
+Brandon Kent yeah but I'm probably not as experienced and want some time on the 250 to get me ready for a 450. I debated between the two, the dealer also had a 2015 demo 450 for $1k more but I'm also buying a small bike for my kid so between the budget and experience level I went with the 250 but I do plan to work up to the 450.
+Patrick Giles I hope you didn't buy the 250 yet, because 250f's are only made for about 170 lbs , the 450 would be better for you because you wouldn't have to shift and hold it pinned on the 450, I'm 140 pounds and I can ride a 250 and a 450 no problem btw
+PanicRev Productions Yeah I did already buy the 250. I'm loving it. Since I don't race I didn't feel the need for a 450. The 250 has plenty of power for me. I may outgrow and want a 450 but for now it's perfect.
I just bought a 2004 yzz250f stroked. Any help with riding tips would be helpful. I got the basics but cornering and jumps are difficult. You made it look easy here
I used to have a Honda 80cc and what I learned with corners is you just really have to trust the bike to not tip over. I also learned that you cant go through corners slow cause if you do the bike just falls over. Go till your about half way into the corner then hammer it and NEVER forget to have that leg out it helps so much! Hope this helped!
Bob Swagger pinching the seat with your legs before you jump and in the air, make ur chin level with your bars.and be center with the bike also make sure your arms are not stiff. check out some youtube videos, there are a lot of jumping and riding tips out there
Ive got pretty much same bike i weigh 74kg and dont need to shift up to 4th or 5th much it pulls hard in 3rd it sounds like its on the limiter but its not its still spinning or pulling trust me i ride mine the same people say why dont you change more and im like dont need to if i do theres lag
Why dont you watch my video of me riding the modded version of this bike? It bogs and you have to keep it high in the rpms for it to move. It's a freaking stock 250f... I weigh almost 200lbs! Of course you have to rev it for it to move. Point out a specific spot in this video that I should have shifted in
lmao every body talking about him not shifting but act like you don't hear the rev limiter when he gets a handful of clutch but doesn't let off the gas and this bike is probably not even broken in yet so he's definitely gonna have to rev the gears out to make it clear an 80' table top. should probably work on your cornering speed tho
For the people saying oh he's wearing out the clutch and blah blah do you even know how fucking strong the clutch is? And so fucking what if he hits the limiter as long as he maintains his bike it will be fine for fucks sakes some people like railing the piss out if there bikes and this guy does so let him
+david tomoiaga actually, the newer Yamahas make their peak horse power just before the rev limiter. So if you want to utilize the bikes 40+ h.p. , your going to have to scream it
+Brandon Kent I've wanted to ask a pro at the track I go to but haven't gotten the opportunity, so gonna ask u, when you were a beginner, how did you overcome the fear of those long and big jumps?
+GRASS-CONCEPT one way i got used to big jumps is by gojng further and further or follow someone who clears it sk you get the right speed. i was scared of hitting a 20 ft table top and now i can do 70 ft step ups.
Ok thanks, and u can see me trying to get over a couple jumps on my channel playlist "Motocross" and maybe u can also judge me by watching the 2 latest videos beginning with the words mx practicing.
+Brandon Kent If you'd listen to your video you can hear you hit the limiter clear as day. And no I don't even race, I've ridden sport quads all my life until this summer. I've ridden in conditions and places that most people wouldn't dream of taking a sport quad. I've owned a dirt bike all of 6 months and I can tell you're a pretty shitty rider.
No, I understand what you're saying. But it is possible to do it without hitting the limiter. You just have to start the shift process a little sooner than you would normally.
lol man, i thought you were done on that first jump. Soooooper oversehoot
I feel sorry for that clutch
+Jeremy 250f its motocross man
That first jump was insane!
Great vid!
That tabletop in the beginning was dope as hell.
fuck these keyboard warriors dude....... your a great rider. keep dumping that clutch bro. we all ride differently that's the beautiful thing about motocross. you did a great job showcasing the bikes abilities. keep ripping it up bro
its gotta be light with only 2 gears in the box.
ya, 3rd and 4th lol
At least its the right brand. ;) Lookin good bro
great riding! you are full tilt on that tabletop!! beautiful!
I also forgot. I'm subscribing to you.
+Braden G I would if I could.
Man that looks so much fun, can't wait to get my yz
I'm about to pull the trigger on a sweet demo model 2015. Was going to go with the TTR230 but want a more aggressive bike. Have always wanted a YZ and my 6'3" 210lb frame is ready to take on the 250f!
Dude you need a 450. I'm a little bigger than you at 6 4 and 225, but I started riding 450s when I was much smaller

+TylerBlocker who in the fuck told you a 250 is meant for a rider 170 pounds???
Dude that track is so sick!! Where is it?
I like that color in your jersey!
how much did the bike cost otd after all fees and taxes?
When I got mine for the Yamaha Dealership it was $8,750 after fees and taxes.
My 2016 was just over 9,000 for every thing
That first jump... holy shit
0:45 glad to see that i'm not the only one who overlands every jump ahhaha
Same. Once I overjumped so hard that the bike bounced up into the air again.
ouch, that's bad!
I once overlanded with my back and couldn't stand or sit for 3 days..
+Lone Rider then what did u do for those 3days😂😂😂
it was a total hell! the worst 3 days of my life!!
How does the yzf handels? espacialy in the corners?
compared to the other models?
How did u mount the camera?
Where is this track?
Brandon what's your height in cm's?
I ride quads on motocross tracks, but someday i will want to try riding a bike. nice riding though.
Once you do you'll never go back!
I'm coming from a 125 two stroke too a yz250f did I make the right decison or should I have gone with a 250 two stroke
Ya you'll be fine. How much do you weigh. And what's your skill level on a national level.
I'm a b rider and I weigh like 135 with gear
+Chase Daignault what state do you live in
+Brandon Kent Rhode island
250f, you won't regret it
Nice video mate. How did you get rid of the wind noise. Tried every case for my gopro and the noise is horrible.
I think gopro are built unequal sometimes -_-
Its prob because its pressed up against his chest. I have a chest mount to and there's really no wind noise
Might have a mic with protector
how big was that table top?
where is this circuit ?
Get a walk around of the 2015 Rmz? Keep the tradition you have going lol

Octane Productions alright thanks for the tips
no problem
Ive got pretty much same bike i weigh 74kg and dont need to shift up to 4th or 5th much it pulls hard in 3rd it sounds like its on the limiter but its not its still spinning or pulling trust me i ride mine the same people say why dont you change more and im like dont need to if i do theres lag

My sponsor bought me a 2015 yz250f best bike ever!
Tyler Adams smh
have you heard of that crazy thing called shifting?
Why dont you watch my video of me riding the modded version of this bike? It bogs and you have to keep it high in the rpms for it to move. It's a freaking stock 250f... I weigh almost 200lbs! +Brandon Kent haters gona hate mate
+Brandon Kent hard to tell from immaculate grooming but guessing from engine noise this is a sand based track
+Craig Dally i hate sand lol
Nathan18981 bro what you talking about this guy would smoke you
nice riding!
Hows the power on this thing, im debating between 250 and 450 keepin in mind that im 185
its not power that makes you fast really its skill
How tall are you I'm king of getting one
6'4" and 220lbs
It almost looks like your clutch is slipping
Sounds like you need to take out a baffle
r.i.p clutch you will be missed
r.i.p to the haters i hope you guys burn. did you not see that huge air on the first damn jump.
lmao every body talking about him not shifting but act like you don't hear the rev limiter when he gets a handful of clutch but doesn't let off the gas and this bike is probably not even broken in yet so he's definitely gonna have to rev the gears out to make it clear an 80' table top. should probably work on your cornering speed tho
It's not my bike so I had no idea how to get it through corners.
wtf its not like his riding the clutch like crazy hes popping it hes doing more damage to the chain big woop
Breaking it is all apart of it. And if he had fun breaking it then it shouldn't matter
For the people saying oh he's wearing out the clutch and blah blah do you even know how fucking strong the clutch is? And so fucking what if he hits the limiter as long as he maintains his bike it will be fine for fucks sakes some people like railing the piss out if there bikes and this guy does so let him
I'm also 5'9
riding it like a 2 smoke lol always on high rpms
It's only a 250 man, the bitches don't rev to 13,500rpm for nothing haha.
The clutchhhhh bro chill with the high revs 😂😂
+Frank Zarro I bet you can't either
+david tomoiaga actually, the newer Yamahas make their peak horse power just before the rev limiter. So if you want to utilize the bikes 40+ h.p. , your going to have to scream it
Great footage im 12 and i ride one i can barely touch😂
How tall are you? I am 13 and i'm 5'4 would i be able to touch good?
Ronnie Vick no not very im 14 im 6 foot tall and i can touch with both feet with a little bend in the knees but your 13 ull grow into inylto
Ronnie Vick it
nah mate its cool i am an experienced rider i can handle it no worries now
because i have a cr 250
Anyone saying your slow is stupid, easily a B rider MAYBE even A albeit locally only.
nice bike how much u want for it lol just kidding
learn clutch control and how to shirt or else that bike won't last long...
Dimitris .Simeonidis its not my bike. it was a demo. i ride 450s so it was hard to squeeze power out of a 250
+Brandon Kent I've wanted to ask a pro at the track I go to but haven't gotten the opportunity, so gonna ask u, when you were a beginner, how did you overcome the fear of those long and big jumps?
+GRASS-CONCEPT one way i got used to big jumps is by gojng further and further or follow someone who clears it sk you get the right speed. i was scared of hitting a 20 ft table top and now i can do 70 ft step ups.

Don't use your freaking clutch dang
You're an idiot
You will be buying more clutches then you will gas if you keep that up lol
+kaleb ace then he's gonna be buying a lot of clutches for his demo bike
+yz250f_kid not to mention he can't shift to save his life
+Brandon Kent If you'd listen to your video you can hear you hit the limiter clear as day. And no I don't even race, I've ridden sport quads all my life until this summer. I've ridden in conditions and places that most people wouldn't dream of taking a sport quad. I've owned a dirt bike all of 6 months and I can tell you're a pretty shitty rider.
+kaleb ace I guess you can't shift just as fast without pinning it to the rev limiter. Shift right before the limiter, like most people do.
No, I understand what you're saying. But it is possible to do it without hitting the limiter. You just have to start the shift process a little sooner than you would normally.
thats a yz250fx
No it's not
no fucks given haha
I new how to shift better than that when I was in 1st grade.
get a 250 2 smoker
Did it annoy anyone else that this guy didn't fuvking shift?
It's a 250f... I weigh 220. If I shift, it bogs. I never over revved it in this video.
