So...magkaiba ang social principles sa doctrines. Ang nangyayari kasi in-equate ang doctrines sa social principles. LGBT issue is not a doctrinal issue, it's a social/cultural issue. Social & cultural issues are relative and can be flexible and "revolutionary" because of the fact that the world we are living in is, as it has always been, is changing. Here's my question, the SOGIE bill is at the congress. Nakakasa, inuupuan, but that doesn't mean patay na. The bill is just waiting for the right people and the right time so that it can be approved and enacted. Kung mangyari yan, the government will provide the thing that the church doesn't want to provide to the LGBT community, not thru marriage but thru civil union. So what will leave us then as a church if that thing happens? "Frozen"...or trapped in a cultural/social tradition?
Should our practices are inline with biblical principles? Does our discipline also is inline with biblical principles? Does our social principles aligned with biblical principles? Why do you say " same sex marriage" it is a social principles issue and cultural issue. Does the bible exist without any cultural issues or social principle issues from the time of it's writing? Even the Lord Jesus experienced those issues and tackled it himself with his disciples and the people of his time. Even in the old testament prophets also experienced social issues concerning their practices. Laws and doctrines were imposed to solved issues in their time.
